I rest my arms on the windowsill as I watch the rain start to pour down from the cloudy sky. It's my favorite type of weather.

I close my eyes as I listen to the raindrops pelting the glass window in front of me. I'm grateful for moments like these, when school doesn't feel like complete hell.

It's almost 5 pm, and nearly everyone is home by now but Sunwoo and I decided to stay in the classroom and study.

But then we saw that a storm was heading in and he went to go get an umbrella from his locker.

I enjoy the silence of the empty classroom until I hear footsteps in the door way.

"Enjoying the rain?" A teacher's voice asks.

I whip around in my seat and I see one of the math department teachers unpacking a box of paper.

"Yeah," my voice comes out small and shaky. A pit forms in my stomach as I realize I'm the only one in here with him.

He walks a bit closer to peak out of the window as well, standing a few feet away. My survival instincts kick in and I stand up abruptly, the chair scraping the floor.

"I-I was just heading out!" I say, my heart pounding so loudly in my ears I don't know if I yelled or whispered that.

I don't stick around to hear his answer either, because I'm out of that classroom in two seconds flat.

I close the sliding door and I lean against the wall, trying to catch my breath. My pulse is still racing, and my hands feel sweaty. I unlock my phone and I call Sunwoo.

"Sorry," he answers immediately. "I forgot my combination and I couldn't open it, but I got it now."

"It's okay," I say, sounding out of breath. "Did you get the umbrella?"

"Yeah, but what's wrong?" Sunwoo recognizes the panic in my voice.

I swallow, leaning my head against the hallway just outside the classroom. "Th-there was a teacher. No, well I was alone, and then a teacher came in and it was just us and I panicked and I left but now I realize that all our stuff is in there but I can't go back, I really can't, I'm sorry."

"Sola, where are you?" He asks.

"I'm outside the classroom in the hall."

"Okay. Stay there I promise I'm coming soon," Sunwoo says. "Just like 3 minutes, I promise."

I say okay and my shaky hand hangs up the phone.

Even then, I realize I'm going to have to get the stuff eventually, and my breathing gets ragged. I peak through the window and the teacher is still in there, at the desk watching the rain. He's a nice teacher, I'm sure, it's just me and my issues.

I rest my hands on top of my head like I always do when I'm trying to catch my breath.

I hear footsteps and for a second I feel okay because I think it's my best friend—but it's not.

It's actually someone who increases the shaky breathing. I close my eyes and turn the other way as Hyunjae walks down the hallway towards me.

What the hell is he still doing here??

"Are you okay? You look like you're going to be sick." Hyunjae stops next to me and I can already smell the sweet lollipop.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine." I answer so he'll go away.

"I'm pretty sure the door is unlocked." He puts his hand on the knob and I grab his arm.

"No!" I say sharply, and he looks at me.
