I have to go home.

I have to go back. I can't stay here. I can't risk Beth throwing me out. I know that in the worst case scenario, Harry and mama Anne would take me in. But, I don't want to be a burden to them. I have to protect what is still my 'home' for another month.

Harry doesn't know about my departure yet. I don't know how he's going to take it.

As soon as he comes back, i'll tell him that i'm leaving today but that doesn't mean I won't be supporting him 100% all the way from the states. I'll be watching him on every episode through the tv all the way from Whitebridge and even from the big apple if it comes to that. I'll be with him present in his mind even if i'm not with him physically.

I just finished packing my bags and i'm sitting on the couch nervously awaiting their arrival. Mama Anne will also be finding out about my departure soon.

Deep in my thoughts, I hear the twist of the locked doorknob and some voices.

"Dani we're back." Harry interrupts with a humble smile and mama Anne comes right behind him sitting across from me looking joy-filled herself.

"Guess what?" He interrupts my silent thoughts.

"What?"

"I was put into a boy band with 4 other guys today. We rehearsed a few songs to sing at the next episode to see how the public reacts to us. The judges keep saying they saw much potential in each of us that could grow into something bigger if we were put into a band. So that's what they did, we're combining our talents together. But we'll see how it goes." He says all in one breath. He seemed excited for it.

"Wow! That's amazing. I never expected you to join a band but that's an amazing idea." I smile feeling happier than ever for him. He smiles back and mama Anne is sitting there quietly watching us happily.

They both look immensely happy and I would hate to kill their vibe but I just can't waste time. If I don't tell them now, i'll be late to the airport and miss my flight.

Their faces drop as soon as they see my look turned into one of dismay.

"Harry.. mama Anne.. I have to tell you both something really important." They both frown and become attentive to what i'm about to say.

"Yeah? What is it Dani?" He asks suddenly concerned.

"Are you okay sweetheart?" Mama Anne asks softly.

I stay quiet thinking of how to say this. My eyes switch back and forth between Harry's eyes and mama Anne's eyes'. There's no easier way to say this. I'm not sugarcoating this.

"I'm leaving."

Harry right away seems very taken off guard by the news and so does mama Anne. She didn't expect this news at all.

"L-Leaving? Y-You're leaving?" He asks quietly, his eyes suddenly turned somber.

"I'm going to let you both have a minute.." Mama Anne gets up displaying a small sorrowful smile rubbing Harry's shoulder softly and then mine as she walks past us to grab her purse off the table and exit the hotel room.

"Harry, Beth called last night. She called to ask why I hadn't moved out two days ago when I told her I would. She isn't having it and demanded I go home if I didn't plan on moving out just yet."
