"Mate, you're doing the first chorus, i'm the second verse after that remember." Zayn corrects me.
He brings me back from my musical mistake with his quiet, Bradford accent.
"Right.. yeah mate.. got it." I answer and he stares at me expressionless for a second before turning back to his music sheet.
We were rehearsing our last song from our second album- I know everything is going by so fast.
Our first tour was only a couple dates long. During the first UK tour, our team was already working on songs for the second album.
They picked the songs and put our album together and as soon as our first tour ended we jumped right into our second tour.
No taking breaks here.
Tonight we start our second tour in..
Drumroll please.
The United States.
Well, a more precise location would be in Los Angeles. This one is definitely going to be longer. I believe it might even extend into two parts if all goes well with promos and side things during the first half.
Things were going great with my career!..
Except.. for the fact that I find myself constantly thinking about Dani.
Today is her 18th birthday too. Of course I didn't forget. I wasn't going to let it slip.. I mean it's her 18th.. it's important. I have my ways for certain things.
On another note, I don't know what to do anymore because she's everywhere.
She's in every song I sing. She's in every place I go. She's in every face I see. She's in every sunset I watch. She's in every movement I make. She's everywhere.
She was good to me and I lost her.
I hate myself for that.. and always will.
"From the top Harry. 3, 2, 1" Our vocal coach tells us to repeat our part as Zayn and I were standing side by side. The boys on either sides of us, Louis and Niall on my right and Liam on my left.
"We made a start, be it a false one I know.. baby I don't want to feel alone.. " I finish singing my first chorus and Zayn jumps right in.
"So kiss me when I lay down.. my hands pressed to your cheeks.. a long way from the playground.." Zayn sings his part and soon after the music stops completely.
"Perfect! Take 15." Our vocal coach gives us a break.
I leave the studio booth and go look for something to eat.
Time to find something to eat. I'm starving.
I begin my journey to find a snack and come across some employees watching TV near the snack table.
I pick at some grapes when I hear a voice I would recognize absolutely anywhere.
I quickly turn around and realize the voice is coming from the TV.

What's she doing on national
television? She's sitting at a piano in front of what could possibly be more than a couple thousand people!
