My driver's test is today and i'm freaking the fuck out.
I'm already in my car- Harry's car- at the New York DMV and Harry was supposed to be here for moral support.
Lately, he's been missing out on every important moment in my life..
Elijah was going to be here in Harry's place but he had last minute errands to run.
Instead, Hazel accompanied me taking both of their places' since she already has her license and she was available.
This is it. The instructor lady walks toward me and gets in. Hazel had just gotten off to wait for me.
I begin driving and everything seems to go smoothly during it. I listen to her and do as she asks of me and soon enough we're circling back to the DMV parking lot.
She tells me I pass and surprisingly they gave me my driver's license right then and there after a few minutes. No waiting for it to arrive in the mail like usual.
Wait- I passed? Holy fuck- I passed!
This is the moment I had been waiting for.
Hell yes!!
I see Hazel waiting for me outside and I run to her, giving her a big hug.
"I passed Hazel! I can't believe it! I got my driver's license!" I cheer and she hugs me tightly.
"I knew you could do it Elle! A driver's test got nothing on you!" She confidently preaches me. I laugh at her comment and we get into the car, driving back to our dorms.
- A few days later..
Hazel and I are just chilling in our dorms. She turns on the tv to her channel where she always gets her celebrity news from.
Coincidentally, she stops and turns it up. It was a segment on One Direction talking about their 1st UK tour ever.
Harry seemed to be in the spotlight of answering the interviewer's questions. She was directed at him.
"I hate the word 'famous' because it has no substance."
"Oh really? Why is that?" The interviewer asks him. "Can you elaborate for us? For your fans who are watching you at this very moment?" She smiles making flirtatious eyes at him but he could care less. He didn't even acknowledge her moves.
Let's not forget he has a girlfriend too so..

"Yeah, I just- I feel like when people label other people as 'famous', they take away a lot of substance that they have as a person. So you don't remember someone as 'He was funny', or 'They were really nice and giving'. It's like 'They were famous', and then it becomes a thing where anything after that, whatever you choose to do afterward.. if it's not as famous, or more famous than it was before- it's considered a failure.. and that's a shame because it's not a failure, always." He ends the answer to his question and I can't help but be in awe of his fully-detailed and thoughtful answer.
