"Oh i'm gonna miss you both so much. Time flew by and now you're both leaving." She cries a few tears while we're all standing in her living room.
"Mum, i'm gonna miss you too. Every single day. But i'll see you again sometime soon okay?" I reassure her and give her the tightest embrace.
"Mama Anne, you are literally the mother I don't have anymore. I could never thank you enough for everything you've done for me ever since I came into you and your son's life and for all the late night talking while Harry was gone that you listened to me rant about my feelings. I absolutely adore you Mama Anne. Thank you for everything." My mum shed more tears with Dani's words and it makes me wonder what they used to talk about. Dani said she talked to her about her feelings.
"Oh sweetie, I care so much for you, no need to thank me. I'll always see you as a daughter. You're an amazing, wonderful woman and I have no doubt that you'll do great things in Uni. Please do come visit me when you get the chance. Don't forget about this ol' lady." She laughs between tears and hugs her. "By the way, your secret's are safe with me." She winks playfully, still sniffling.
I frown and call them out.
"Hey! No secret keeping!" I extend my hands out in protest.
"Nuh uh Harry. It's girl code. You're not part of it." Dani smirks and I cross my arms, huffing playfully.
I let it go and laugh, giving in. It's clear that they aren't going to spill it so I let it be.
"Mum it's time." She nods and gives us one last hug each. We turn around and walk out of the house. Mum waves goodbye at us and we do the same.
I bet this is very tough on her, but she's a tough woman.
We drive off and get to the NYC airport 4 hours later. Dani was dropping me off because her stop was literally here in the city.
"Flight 101 is departing in 10 minutes!"
We hear the lady warn through the speaker about my flight.
"This is it Harry." She sadly smiles.
"I miss you already." I confess and she laughs softly.
"So do I." She replied. "Always and forever right?"
"Always and Forever, love."
I hug her for a good minute until I hear the last call for my flight before it departs.
"Last call for passengers boarding flight 101! Flight 101 will be departing in 5 minutes!"
I release Dani from my embrace and look into her eyes and analyze her facial features one last time before I leave.
"I repeat last call for passengers boarding flight 101! Flight 101 will be departing in 5 minutes! Enjoy your flight and have a great day!"
