Chase's POV
"Well fuck," Liam breathed out as he passed the blunt to Christian, smoke escaping his nostrils. I followed his gaze and immediately laughed at what he was looking at. Sierra, Emma, and Chloe were all hanging out in the crowd, dancing to the music.
"Wow, I bet you feel dumb as hell," I remarked, my eyes going back to them.
"Bro, Sierra is-"
"-fine as wine." Christian breathed.
Liam glared at him, and he raised his hands in defeat. "Don't look at me like that man, you had your chance."
I wondered why Chloe was at a party on a Monday night, it was very much unlike her. Not to mention what she was wearing, she looked very... different in that dress. She danced shyly to Trey Songz, occasionally sipping from her cup. She was drinking too?
"What's Chloe doing here man?" I asked Chris.
"I may or may not have something to do with that."
"What do you mean?"
"I told her that people are talking about how lame she is, I guess she took my words too literal."
"Why would you tell her that?" I laughed. "I mean she is kind of lame, to be honest," I added, knowing damn well that she would kill me if she knew I said that.
"Exactly."
"We have to keep an eye on her though. Remember what happened the last time she was at a party?"
He nodded and his jaw suddenly tensed. "Damn right I remember."
"What happened to that fucker anyways?" Liam asked, referring to Greyson. His name still made my fists clench.
"We beat him up to the point where he had to change schools," Chris hissed.
"Yeah, I made sure to let the asshole know to never show his face around here again," I watched Chris's face and patted him on the back.
I took another sip from my cup as my eyes scanned the crowd. I was supposed to be studying for a test that I had coming up. The idea of reading about combustion reactions physically made my head hurt, being at this party sounded more appealing. I wasn't bad at school, but chemistry class sure made me feel like I was. I shook my head and leaned back onto the wall behind me, shoving my right hand into my sweatpants pocket.
Chris shifted on his feet and sighed. I seemed to have hit a nerve when I brought up the guy who sexually assaulted his twin sister. I hit a nerve for myself too when I thought about it, it made me almost want to watch Chloe like a hawk the whole night.
"I wonder what made you decide to cheat on Sierra," he began talking to Liam again. "If I was lucky enough to score with a girl like her, I don't think I would want to risk losing her."
Liam glanced at him, a smirk playing on his lips.
"I know it was a dumb move, but if you guys know me, then you know that one girl can't satisfy me."
"Yeah, we all know that," I agreed, "but her best friend though? She obviously was going to find out."
"I guess I felt creative that day," he shrugged.
"I'm not going to lie though, Sierra and Emma at once? That sure does sound like something," I admitted and the next thing that came out of Liam's mouth made me question why Sierra even dated him in the first place.
"I was just chilling one day and the next thing I knew, I was thinking about Sierra's big, sweet, ass bouncing off my hips ass as she gave Emma head."
I tried to maintain my loyalty to Chloe by not talking crap about her best friend, but that comment was way too good for me to not be intrigued by it.
