While Sirius was busy with his little gift that needed retrieving, (y/n) sought to pursue a certain figure who was standing alone at the moment.

"Jolene, what are you doing here all by yourself?" (y/n) asked, Jolene looked to the floor in shame and sighed, her dress was beautiful, perhaps even better than (y/n)'s. In fact, she looked so wonderful, she was mesmerizing to look at.

"I haven't got a date." Jolene mumbled, (y/n) placed a hand on the girl's shoulder and almost immediately an idea popped up inside of her head. She believed it to be so brilliant that she was proud of just the thought of coming up with it.

"Wait here, I'll find you a date." (y/n) said, she rushed back to the corner of the grand hall, almost exactly diagonal to Jolene's location. The girl was glad to find Clye still awkwardly standing where she'd left him.

"(y/n), where's that boyfriend of yours?" Clye muttered, he sounded a little hurt as the words left his mouth, though he was ultimately more happy to see the girl than to worry about the fact that he couldn't have her.

"No time to explain." (y/n) said, she grabbed Clye's hand and rushed him over to where Jolene had been standing, luckily the girl was still there, and she flashed (y/n) with a confused look as she glared at the odd duo that was vastly approaching her.

"Jolene Clye, Clye Jolene." (y/n) rushed, she'd used all of her breath just to utter that short sentence, so she was left panting.

"Nice to meet you." The two began, (y/n) smiled and left them to it.

...

[A/N] Trigger warning lowk

Sirius still hadn't returned yet, and there was no sign of the others. (y/n) decided to return to Jolene and Clye, the least she could do was check up on her latest match make.

"(y/n), Clye's told me all about you two." Jolene said, she had a big grin on her face, she seemed to be focusing more on the boy than the girl who was standing right in front of her.

"Oh." (y/n) muttered, Clye gave a reassuring look, which (y/n) took as a sign that they both didn't mention the mermaid thing. That would be quite confusing to explain to both of them, even though they both knew the truth about (y/n). She didn't want to deal with that topic, so she was thankful to Clye for keeping quiet about that.

"Jolene loves rock n roll by the way." (y/n) added, the boys face lit up immediately and soon the two were back to their conversation. (y/n) saw this as the perfect get away plan, she would be able to slip away from their view quite easily.

"I'll leave you guys to it." (y/n) said, she began to back away from the two, causing her to crash backwards into a tall and slim Slytherin boy with cruel green eyes and blonde hair. (y/n) had managed to spill the boys drink onto him, by accident of course, though his proximity to the punch bowl, and his Slytherin nature, spelt doom for the girl.

"I'm so sorry." (y/n) mumbled, she spun around completely to get a better glance at the figure, his eyes were filled with hatred, he just so happened to be the Slytherin keeper, and (y/n) had not been too kindly on him last match. I guess you could call what he did revenge.

"You" Was all that he said, and then it went to slow motion.

The tall Slytherin grabbed the large punch bowl and poured the whole thing over (y/n), she hadn't even managed to dodge his attack, he had been rather nimble and quick with his movements and they were rather unexpected for the girl.

(y/n) spun around and faced Clye and Jolene, both had reached out hands in an attempt to stop the boy.

"Run (y/n)!" The two shouted in unison, they both turned towards each other, shooting glances and whispering 'you know too?'
