The weekend had found it's way to Hogwarts, and all students third year and above couldn't get enough of it, especially the Marauders and their counterparts (who were still debating on which girls to take). Sirius and Remus had into a bit of an argument over a certain mermaid, both wanted to take her, and it seemed that only one of them would be able to.

James, being the mastermind that he was, devised a plan in which the two shared time with (y/n), as if she were their property. James pointed the property aspect out to the boys, seeing as he knew (y/n) just as well as them, though Remus and Sirius insisted that she wouldn't mind their little plan. They were both horribly mistaken, though they were too blind to see it.

Another key part of the plan was (y/n)'s lack of awareness, she was never told the plan, this spelt doom for Remus and Sirius. James was only trying to help, though it seemed that he'd paved the way for disaster.

...

"(y/n) wait!" Jolene called out, she joined the two girls, who were headed for the carriages that would take them to Hogsmeade.

"Yes." (y/n) replied, Jolene greeted them and smiled, it was a common gesture from the girl.

"Big news, huge." She spat, she was completely out of breath since she'd ran across half the campus to reach (y/n) and Lily just in time.

"Sirius is going with you to Hogsmeade, he told me to tell you." Jolene continued, (y/n) was taken aback by the statement, especially since Sirius had been boasting about taking some Hufflepuff to Hogsmeade.

"Really, it's not like him to ask indirectly." Lily stated, she seemed skeptical of the situation, though she had every right to be, the whole ordeal felt strange.

"Ok, he didn't ask me to tell you, but I overheard a conversation of his so just be prepared." Jolene said, (y/n) began to understand the situation a little better now. At first she'd thought that the boy liked her so much that he was too shy to ask her himself, though after a few seconds she realized that the theory was utterly incorrect and mortifying to the girl. He was still making out with other girls, still boasting about him, and what about the Hufflepuff girl, and where did (y/n) fit in with all of this, was she just a joke, or did he really mean anything by the kisses.

(y/n) shook her head and pushed all those thoughts aside, Sirius wasn't what was important right now.

"Would it be alright if I went to Hogsmeade with him, I mean it doesn't sit right with me to just ditch you guys." (y/n) muttered, she was looking at Jolene as she said this, because she was the one who'd been hurt by the boy.

"Yeah it's perfectly fine, you're both friends after all." Jolene replied, her statement felt like a warning, she'd placed a lot of emphasis on the friends part, it seemed as if she wanted things to stay that way between (y/n) and Sirius.

The carriages had arrived at Hogsmeade, when the girls stepped off they searched for any sign of the Marauders. Sirius was nowhere to be found, both Jolene and (y/n) began to worry. Jolene was stressed because she didn't want to come off as a liar, she may have said some strange things, but she'd really overheard a conversation between Remus and Sirius, she was telling the truth. (y/n) was worried because she believed that Sirius had really run off with the Hufflepuff girl, who she now despised. Just the thought of the two sucking face was enough to make her gag.

"(y/n), i'm glad I found you." Remus stammered, he came from in front of the girls and waved as he approached them.

"Why is that?" (y/n) asked, she was deeply confused, and had every right to be.

"Hogsmeade, we always go together." Remus stated, he had a bit of confusion in his tone, though it was all an act, he was simply trying to get the upper hand on Sirius, who still missing in action. (y/n) on the other hand felt guilty, she'd completely forgotten about her statement earlier at the 'meeting'. She didn't want to leave the girls, and deep down she wished that Sirius would come and take her out for some butter beer.
