When park chaeyoung was a little girl, she only grew up with two people in her life. Her father and her brother. After her mother died, chaeyoung father gambles alot and was in a huge of debt. Her father was a considerate man as he had never once hit them even on a drunken state, she rarely even sees him since he seldom returned home.
Chaeyoung was already used to it for not having everything she had ever wanted in her life.
Somehow, she understands her father incompatible decisions as she had never once hated him because of his past choices and mistakes. Because she truly believed everything happens for a reason.
Her brother, taehyung was the breadwinner of the family. He often skip school and works multiple jobs to provide for the family. Little chaeyoung remembers she have to walks home everyday because taehyung forgets to pick her up from school.
And that's become chaeyoung daily routine.
When she was 20, chaeyoung chooses to not further her studies and become an employee. That decision made taehyung upset, really. He didn't talk to her in days because he truly believed she had made a bad choice.. but somehow in the end, he let her choose her own path.
She was also 20, when she first had met Jeon Jungkook.

Park Chaeyoung really needs cafeine.
She despites coffee before, she dislikes how bitter the smell and taste was. But Jungkook loves coffee, he always wanted his favourite coffee on his table the moment he had arrived in his office- with no exception.
And accidentally, she had continued to love coffee ever since. It helps her to stay awake till dawn.
But now chaeyoung is late, she is very late. She woke up very late on 7am and she supposed to arrived before 8am. It's takes her almost half an hour to get ready and to order his favourite coffee at his favourite café. And now she is ten minutes late.
Chaeyoung is screwed.
Jungkook hates people who waste his time. He once fired an employee because of it.
Chaeyoung enter his room after she heard his voice, she had already mentally prepared herself to get scolded.
"you late." Jungkook narrowed his eyes, and pointed at the clock which indeed shows she late but only a couple of minutes. Jungkook was always a presentable and a perfectionist man.
Just as she wanted to make up an excuse, he first gesture to put the coffee on the table. She pursued her lips and put the hot coffee on his table, her eyes glanced over him as Jungkook also did the same. He began to flustered before looking away.
"what's our schedule for today?" Jungkook coughed while he remained his focus on his works.
Chaeyoung look over at the tablet on her hand as she told him all the schedules for today, to morning until midnight.
He nodded before, "Miss Park?"
"yes, sir?"
"I read your letter yesterday and.. I hope you still will be working with me until the end of this month, as I will find a replacement for you later."
Chaeyoung finds herself to be speechless. She would never expected this. His words feel like flying into thin air as she couldn't help herself to answer.
Jungkook finally decided to stop working and look straight into chaeyoung, "thank you." he tells her.
She really wonder who possessed him to be this friendly especially when she thought he would scolded her for being late.
