Driven to be the number one hero

Chapter 112

Izuku walked into the gym like he owned it. His new costume felt good on him, Mei explained it's capabilities while they walked to the gym. He only focused on Bakugo, this fight will gage how much he has to hold back the on other students. Mei walked over to where Tsuyu, Ochaco and Momo were standing. The girls saw his intense look and then looked at Bakugo and felt bad for him. Monoma never thought that he'd ever cheer for Bakugo. But after Momo's comment he just wanted anyone to beat Izuku. 

Izuku stood in front of Bakugo looking like he just wanted to destroy him. Bakugo began to wonder if he had done something to piss Izuku off recently. Aizawa even asked Izuku if he was all right. Izuku said, I'm good professor. Aizawa explained the rules one more time and said begin. Izuku got into a fighting stance so quickly that Bakugo jumped out of reflect. This caused Izuku to smile as he said, scared men don't win fights. This lite a fire in Bakugo who went all out with his first attack. Mei watched as Izuku only defended himself, she looked at her computer and was stunned. Momo saw the look of concern on Mei's face and asked what's wrong. Mei said, he's not even trying. Ochaco asked, what are you talking about. Mei said, I'm monitoring his heart rate and it hasn't begun to rise. Despite him blocking those attacks. 

Izuku felt genuine disappointment, Bakugo was too slow to really challenge him without his quirk. Bakugo was getting angry as he put all of the techniques that he learned in the Dojo failed to land on Izuku. Monoma watched in horror, as Izuku easily blocked attacks that everyone in his class would have struggled with. At that moment Monoma understood that Momo was right. Izuku really would destroy everyone in his class. Then he was snapped back to reality when Izuku said, prepare to defend yourself. Aizawa used his quirk on Izuku, to his dismay Izuku wasn't using his quirk, Izuku systematically destroyed Bakugo's defenses. Todoroki watched as Bakugo failed to block most of Izuku's strikes. What made it worse the one attack he managed to block. Izuku turned into a spinning backhand knocking Bakugo out. 

Izuku turned to look at Monoma who averted his gaze. Then he saw Todoroki holding Pony's hand and Izuku's intence gaze softened. He smiled Izuku was genuinely happy for them. Todoroki began to blush when he realized that he was still holding Pony's hand. Pony also began to blush when everyone turned to see what Izuku was looking at. Pony refused to let go of Todoroki's hand. When she heard an angry Bakugo beginning to argue when he woke up. 

Bakugo shouted that Izuku had to have used his quirk. Professor Aizawa answered in his deadpan voice, I know that he didn't use his quirk because, I used my quirk on him as soon as he said prepare to defend yourself. Bakugo looked in disbelief and anger as he wondered how far ahead of him Izuku really was. Bakugo asked in a low voice, if you used your quirk how quickly could you have ended the fight. Izuku said, if I considered you a lethal threat with the snap of my fingers. Monoma yelled out, that's bullshit you're not that powerful. Izuku quickly turned and snapped his fingers and Monoma dropped. Izuku calmly said, I don't have any reason to lie to you. Just like I don't have any reason to hide my strength anymore. I'm aiming to become the number 1 hero he continued. Almost everyone moved out of his way as he walked closer to Monoma and healed his severe concussion. Momo, Ochaco, Tsuyu and Mei followed him out of gym.

Monoma woke up wondering how did he end up on the floor and asked what happened. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu said, Izuku snapped his fingers and you dropped. Monoma felt a cold shiver run down his spine. Izuku wasn't exaggerating, if he felt that you were a real threat to him. He would drop you instantly. Monoma also realized that he should stop taunting Izuku. Aizawa called all of the professors to Dean Nezu's office. He quickly told them how efficiently he took Bakugo down. Then he explained how he dropped Monoma just for questioning his abilities. King Vlad asked the question everyone was wondering, should we continue to allow him to fight other students. 

When Izuku and the girls got to Mei's workshop Izuku sat down. The gravity of what he did finally hitting him. Momo walked up to him kneeled down and began to take off his boots. Ochaco began to take off his other boot. Izuku's head slumped forward and Tsuyu pulled it into her chest and began stroking his hair. Mei stood looking at these girls that just began to tend to him. She didn't understand why they weren't even the slightest bit afraid of him. But the more she looked at Izuku, she saw a man who at the moment was broken. And these girls were putting him back together the best way they knew how. Izuku didn't fight them as they stripped him down. When Izuku was fully dressed and sat for a few minutes longer he asked, did I go too far. Ochaco was the first one to answer, you made your point. Tsuyu answered next, what's eating at you. Izuku turned to Tsuyu and said, I don't know. Momo said, you looked at Bakugo like you looked at Zorin. Izuku grimaced as he remembered the rage of that day. Izuku knew he should make an appointment with Beru. 

Izuku picked up Eri then went to Tsuyu's house at the girl's request. Once they arrived Eri shot off to play with Satsuki. Izuku stepped into the kitchen where Beru was making dinner. He asked her if she could schedule him in for an appointment. Beru nodded her head but didn't reply. Izuku smiled and went back to the living room with the girls. A few moments later Satsuki ran out and jumped into Izuku's arms. With that simple act the girls watched as Izuku's anger just melted away.

AFO smiled he found another mental connection, and began to influence Izuku's anger again. He learned his lesson the first time. This time he was going to be careful. As he would once again begin to stoke Izuku's anger.
