Driven to be the number one hero

Chapter 109

Mei looked in sheer amazement as Izuku began to dismantle the heroes. She felt pride well up in her chest. As Izuku used her baby to take down Endeavor. Mei was surprised by Izuku's brutality. When she glanced over to the professors none of them were surprised. Mei was impressed and terrified by the way he knocked Best Jeanist out. Mei really focused on the fight between Izuku and Mirko. Mei realized that the suit should be lighter. She designed it to stop a 25MM, as long as it stops a 50 BMG it's good enough. 

All Might and Midnight were waiting for Izuku to step out of the gym. As his son stepped out All Might hugged his son and said, I'm so proud of you. Midnight said, it's good to see that chivalry isn't dead. Mirko went all out with you and you responded in kind she continued. Izuku said, of the three heroes I fought today, she was the only one who stood up for me when Endeavor was being a dick. I respect those who are respectful he continued. All Might smiled and asked, what's in the briefcase. Izuku said, my costume Mei is going to tweek it some more. Midnight said, Now let's go to the conference room 

Endeavor, Best Jeanist and Hawks woke up in the UA infirmary. Endeavor was angry that little shit did something that negated his quirk. Best Jeanist didn't know how he got knocked out. Hawks started to rub his chest where Izuku kicked him and asked, did anybody get the number of that truck that hit me. A moment later Mirko walked in with Recovery girl. Endeavor asked hopefully, did you get him. Mirko said, no I didn't, we went toe to toe and he won. Now let's go to the conference room and go over the footage she continued.

Everybody was in the conference room when the 4 heroes entered the room. After watching the fight footage, all of the heroes and staff began to dissect all of Izuku's actions. Snipe asked, why did you go after Hawks first. Izuku said, Hawks is the most diverse fighter in that group. Between his speed, flight and feathers that can attack from any angle. He was my biggest problem. Mirko asked, why fight me last. Izuku smiled and said, respect. Mirko blushed. Endeavor asked, what did you fire at me that canceled my quirk. Izuku said, Mei Hatsume designed my costume and support items. That was a highly concentrated fire suppressant he continued. Nezu asked the heroes and the staff, by show of hands does his performance earn him his hero certificate. Everyone's hand went up. 

Izuku smiled and stood up. He bowed and thanked everyone for their time and support. Midnight said if you really want to thank us I'll take one of your songs as gratitude. Endeavor said, if we're done I have other business to attend. Hawks and Best Jeanist also got up and left. Izuku looked at the rest of the staff and Mirko and asked, are you serious. Midnight said, when it comes to your singing yes I am. Izuku looked around hoping it was a joke but nobody budged. Izuku sang two songs the first was should've been a cowboy by Jason Aldean.

The second was the fall by Cody Johnson. Unlike the first song where he just sang to the room. This time he looked at Mirko and began to sing. He walked slowly to her. He began to let real emotions flow into his voice. Mirko felt her heart begin race. Midnight told her he was a good singer. But she wasn't ready for this. The way he was looking at her and the sheer emotion of his words. If she was alone with him she would have possibly kissed him. Mirko was so lost in the moment. She gasped when Izuku reached out and touched her face. When he was done singing he lowered his hand and took hers and kissed her hand. Mirko was so stunned she didn't know what to do or say. Izuku stepped back smiled and bowed. Izuku left the room the staff just as stunned as Mirko.

Midnight looked at Mirko and said, I'm jealous I asked him to sing and you got all of his attention. Mirko asked, does he do that to all of the ladies when he sings. All Might answered, no he doesn't, but he said that he respects you. He said that you stood up for him when Endeavor was being a dick. So I guess that's his way of saying thank you All Might continued. When Izuku stepped into hallway Mei was waiting on him. Mei said, give me a couple of days and I'll reach out to you. Izuku said ok and went to pick up Eri. 

Overhaul  and  Chronostasis sat while Hwang Dongsoo and Kang Taeshik entered the office. Overhaul said, Please sit down and I can update you on your target. Hwang simply asked, is he as strong as you claimed. Chrono said, I'm afraid that he's stronger than I anticipated. Kang said, please give me all the data that you have on him. We'll handle this issue he continued. Overhaul said, do us a favor do not attempt threatening anyone at this park. Or threatening any of his loved ones he continued. Hwang asked, why shouldn't we attack his Vulnerable points. Chrono said, the last two people who have tried that method were utterly crushed by him. Our organization was the second one to try it. Let's just say that it didn't work out well for us he continued. Kang asked, how bad was the fall out. Overhaul said, we're still trying to recover from the damages done to us. Chrono said, when you're done with the all of the information we've given you delete it. We don't want him to come after us again while we are rebuilding our organization. 

Hwang and Kang entered their hotel room. Kang looked over to Hwang and asked if this was worth it. Hwang smiled and said, if he's half as strong as they claim this will be a glorious fight.
