As Izuku walked closer to the reporters, they recognized him. The police and Heroes already had a cover for just this occasion. When Izuku got within shouting range the reporters quickly asked aren't you the winner of UA's freshman sports competition. All Might answered this question, Yes he is. He was a critical asset for this mission being that he was their target he continued. All Might then said, we received special permission to bring him in for this mission. He captured the wanted criminal Flect Turn on his own he continued. This silenced the reporters for a moment. No more questions please a spokesperson will answer your questions during the press conference. One reporter asked, young man who designed your Hero costume. Izuku didn't know that his answer would forever changed Mei Hatsume's life, Izuku said, My costumes and my support devices are made exclusively by Mei Hatsume.
Hinata was shocked to see Izuku on the news, She walked into Tomoe's office and said you need to see this. Hinata showed her the news with Izuku walking with All Might both escorting prisoners. Momo's mom was shocked to see Izuku on the news. Tomoe said, Thank you for showing me this. Once Hinata left her office Tomoe called her husband then she called Momo. Tomoe told Momo to have Izuku approach Ms. Hatsume, Tomoe wanted to strike a deal with her as soon as possible. She passed along the broad details of their offer. If Mei was interested then they will iron out the details. Momo told her mom that she'll call As Soon as she got off the phone with her. Tomoe understood a two things from the clip she saw. 1st she knew that as soon as Izuku graduates he was going to be a very popular very powerful hero. 2nd she needed to recruit this Mei Hatsume. When Izuku claimed that she was his exclusive costume and support item designer, there was going to be a lot of companies and heroes that are going to buy her products. this is how the Yaoyorozu corporation would enter the hero market.
After two hours of debriefing and processing criminals, Izuku went to pick up Eri from Tsuyu's house. When he knocked Tsuyu opened the door door, Tsuyu quickly embraced Izuku. She pressed her head against his chest and said I'm happy you're safe. Beru smiled as she walked up to the door and said, please let him in the house your just in time for dinner. Izuku's stomach rumbled at the mention of food. At the dinner table Satsuki asked Izuku if he could sing a song for her because she didn't get to see the show. Beru smiled and said, maybe some other time but not tonight. Izuku has had a hard day she continued. Satsuki pouted and gave Izuku her best puppy dog eye's and said please. Izuku smiled and said OK just one song. Satsuki said can you please sing the same type of song. Izuku thought about it and said ok. True to his word after dinner he sang her a song.
The family moved to the living room room here Satsuki sat on Tsuyu's lap Eri sat next to Tsuyu. The song made tears stream down Tsuyu's face. While the rest of her family was in awe of how good he can sing. Izuku sang Hello by Lionel Richie
Once again Izuku started singing to Satsuki and she blushed. But then Izuku stood and looked Tsuyu in her eyes and continued to sing. Beru leaned her head on her husband's arm captivated by the song. When Izuku was done Tsuyu put Satsuki on the sofa, she stood up and kissed Izuku forgetting that her parents were sitting right there. Eri and Satsuki squealed in joy as Tsuyu practically threw herself at Izuku. If Izuku didn't hug her she would have fell. After a minute Beru cleared her throat and Tsuyu blushed as she stepped back. Tsuyu said that was a beautiful song. Beru had to ask, where have you picked up on so many classic American songs. Izuku said, that my dad spent a few years in America. While we work out, we listen to rock. When my dad forgets that I'm home he listens to a bunch of different types of music, but more love songs and slower types of music he continued. Izuku admitted that he enjoys the same type of music.
While Izuku was driving home his phone rang. It was Momo she was upset with him for not telling her about his mission. She had to find out from her mother who just happened to see him on the news. Izuku chuckled and said, I'll make it up to you on Monday. Momo said, I look forward to hearing your apology. Then she passed on her mother's request and details. Izuku promised to call Mei and pass along the message and Tomoe's number.
When Izuku got home He called Mei and told her how well her costume stood up in real combat. He also apologized for putting a couple of dents in it. Mei laughed and said, It's a prototype I expected that there would be things that I'd have to fix. Just bring it in on Monday and we'll go over it and make improvements she continued.
Izuku said, before I forget Tomoe Yaoyorozu from the Yaoyorozu corporation wants to officially offer you a job. He passed along the details and Tomoe's number. Mei's question threw Izuku off. she wanted to know what kind of person she was. Izuku told her about his internship. Mei listened and said I'll call her tomorrow. Izuku thanked her then hopped in the shower then sat on the sofa with Eri. He dosed off watching a movie with her. Eri got up and got a blanket for her father. Eri remembered her first night living here. Eri crawled on top her father snuggled in and fell asleep.
When All Might saw Izuku and Eri asleep on the sofa he was hit by a wave of nostalgia. The only difference in the pictures he took this time. Eri was on his side holding Izuku as they slept.
