Avery-

Why did I drink so many shots last night?
Harry styles, that's why.

I'm completely unprepared for this. I convince myself that I don't have a chance in hell at this. I grab the script and meet Ace in the lobby to head over to the studio we are meeting Nicholas and Harry at.

I'm wearing jeans and a pink sweater and my hair is in a messy bun and I only had time for some mascara and lip gloss. I was very concerned about my appearance until I see Harry. He literally looks like he just came straight from the gym. He's a bit of a mystery. All decked out last night but looking like this today. Who is he really?

I smile and say hello to Nicholas and Harry and surprisingly Harry smiles at me today. Nicholas has me to read parts of the scene where Morgan and Colby talk for the first time. Harry doesn't even attempt to do any other accent other than his own so I decide I'm gonna just do my natural one as well. The dialogue is easy and simple, nothing big and it feels a little stiff.

Nicholas says thank you and then he wants to hear me sing. It's been a while since I've done this. I'm nervous. Ace has come along to play piano for me because I'd be too nervous to do both I think. Harry pulls out his phone to start texting or doing anything to look busy. Here we go with this again.

"Nicholas you asked for a song that makes me feel something- this is one that fits that requirement. It's called girl like me."

Ace begins to play the music and I take a deep breath.

You think you're the girl who doesn't know
How to say she's sorry
Doesn't know what to believe
But you wanna believe somebody
You're not the only one
Hidin' in the corner of a party
Disappointed with
Who you call a friend

Well, they're gonna give up on you
You're gonna give up on them
And if it's somebody you really love
You're gonna find a way to love 'em again
You're gonna have to learn to forgive yourself
And not take it so personally
Yeah, take it from a girl like me

Take it from a girl who takes things to take the pain away
Can't look in the mirror
'Cause there's always someone else to blame
She gives more than she's got
Thinks everyone should do the same
It's hard to see
In the middle of a dream

'Cause they're gonna give up on you
You're gonna give up on them
If it's somebody you really love
You're gonna find a way to love 'em again
You're gonna have to learn to forgive yourself
And not take it so personally
Yeah, take it from a girl like me
Take it from a girl like me

Oh, oh
Some people know how to live with a heart that's broke
But that ain't what you're here for, take it from a heart that knows

They're gonna give up on you
You're gonna give up on them
If it's somebody you really love
You're gonna find a way to love 'em again
You're gonna have to learn to forgive yourself
And not take it so personally
Yeah, take it from a girl like me
Take it from a girl like me
Take it from a girl like me

Harry-

I'm trying to look busy as not to make her more nervous than she already is. I'm not real sure what I expect exactly but when she starts to sing it sure wasn't that.

She sings with honesty and feeling and I'm immediately hanging on every word. I can feel the emotion in her voice and I know she feels and believes every word she's singing. She is as good, if not better than anyone else on the radio today. It really makes me wonder how some make it and then someone like her doesn't. She deserved to live her dream.
