Sally and I decide to go to my house after school for our girls night, I'm not too happy about that choice, but she was very persuasive. I've never really been dying for people to see my house, since I often live in a mansion, I'm happy that Harry didn't comment on it when he dropped me off.
NO! No thinking of Harry!
"I've never been to your house before, I'm so excited!" Sally says happily as we are driving to my place.
"I've never been to your place either. I wish we would've gone there instead. My house isn't that much fun." I tell her. I know I shouldn't be embarrassed about something like this, but I am.
"Oh. my. god. Lola, this might be the best looking house I've ever seen! Why wouldn't you want to go here? Just imagine the parties you could throw." Crap. This was what I feared. What if she tells her friends about this and they'll invite everyone to a huge party...But she wouldn't do that, would she?
"No, no and no. Forget it. There will never be a party in here. My parents would literally kill me!" I hope that she sees the seriousness in my eyes, because of she was to tell people, well, there will be a party and someone will die. That someone would be me.
My parents aren't home tonight so it will be just me, Sally and Dora. Unlike many others, I enjoy spending time with my sister. We rarely fight and since we move so much we have become each others best friend.
Sally and I change into our PJs, create a little spa and talk about everything. Dora is in her room finishing up some homework before we watch a movie later tonight.
I needed this. I really needed to get my mind off of Harry for a while, but I have to say that he is very good at slipping into my mind.
When Sally begins to tell me about her earlier boyfriends we both almost pee our pants from laughter. She has so many messed up stories and they are all hilarious. I didn't tell her about Harry though. I think she understood earlier that whatever happened was still to fresh to talk about.
We decide that the three of us are going to watch Grease and when Dora and Sally struggle to play it, I go to get the ice cream. Sally and I bought three Ben & Jerry's on the way home so we could watch a movie and eat from one carton each. Sally chose the chunky monkey, I picked the chocolate fudge brownie and Dora got the strawberry cheesecake.
As I get back to the living room they have managed to get the movie sorted. I'm impressed, usually I end up fixing the TV every time. We sit down in the sofas in front of the TV and we cuddle up with our blankets and pillows. Man, I wish I could stay here forever.
We all sing along to the songs and it sounds absolutely ear deafening, but my stomach hurts from laughing.
About in the middle of the movie our beautiful singing and laughing is interrupted by a loud knock on the door, followed by the door bell.
Dora and Sally don't bother pausing the movie when I head to the door. I feel sorry for whoever is on the other side, because I look like a messed up troll. My eyes are red from crying (in laughter), my hair is in an ugly side pony tail and my pajamas is made up of one large t-shirt and too short shorts.
When I open the door, the smile on my face immediately fades. On the other side of the door is one familiar figure standing. The tattoos are visible through the white t-shirt that he is wearing and his curls are messier than usual. What is he doing here? How did he get here? Did he remember the way here from last time?
"Hey." He says with a confused look on his face, like he's trying to figure out how I feel.
"Hey" I respond. We stay silent and just look at each other.
"Uhm...I was just... I wanted to.." I don't let him finish
"Do you want to come in? It's a bit cold to keep the door open."
"Of course, sorry" He says and looks slightly embarrassed.
When he is inside I tell him to follow me and I "power walk" up to my room. I don't want Sally or Dora to see him and so I run up the stairs in hope that he will do the same, but he doesn't.
"Oh my god. Do I hear grease?" He says and walks towards the living room. No. Harry.
"Harry!?" He's gone.
"Oh, hi there. I'm Harry." I hear his voice in the living room. Crap. When I get to the living room he is shaking Dora's hand. Sally gives me a look of "good job".
I lock eyes with Harry and walk away. He follows.
As we walk into my room, he's back to the Harry looking at his feet. His eyes find mine and he starts talking.
"Lola, I'm so sorry about what happened. I didn't mean to kiss you. I don't want our friendship or whatever to be ruined. You are special and I really didn't mean to scare you off." He says and I can tell that he means it.
"I'm sorry to. I didn't want to run off, I mean I didn't dislike being there, I just....panicked i guess." I tell him, but I can't form my feelings with words. Damn it, this is frustrating.
"Okay, so....Friends?" He asks and holds out his hand for me to shake.
"Uhm...yeah....friends. Great." I take his hand and shake it. Ugh. I don't really want to friends though....... I guess it's for the best.
I look into his eyes and we're back to square one. I bite down on my lip to keep me from losing it.
Just as I'm about to let his hand go he drags me close him. Oh fuck it. His lips crash onto mine and I can't hold it anymore. Our lips move in perfect sync and his hands hold me in place by my waist. As he pushes me to the wall I can see a smile playing on his lips, before his lips are on mine again. His tongue runs along my bottom lip and I accept his way of asking for entrance. He lifts me up and my body follows his every move. My legs lock around his torso as our kisses grow more passionate.
When we part his eyes look hungry and I must look ten times worse since this is not something I do often.
I follow him to the door and before I close it between us, Harry gives me a dimpled smile.
"See you tomorrow, friend." He says and I can't help but to roll my eyes at his playfulness. I close the door and smile to the ground.
"Friend."
