When dinner arrives so does Harry and his father does not look pleased by his behavior, but he doesn't say anything. I'm actually happy that he doesn't. This party may be the most boring thing ever and even though it would probably become more interesting if Harry and his dad started a fight, I don't hate him enough to wish that upon him. It's sad really. He's a messed up child with a messed up family.
My head hurts like hell again and the thought of dying has never been so appealing. My family are in a deep discussion with some other family about school and education and I don't know what to do. My mom brags about my grades and so does the mother from the other family, but her daughters grades of course. I don't know her and I don't like to judge people, but that daughter looks like the most boring person ever. She fits right in. She is wearing a dress which does not show one single inch of skin and it's brown. She is not wearing any makeup and her face gives me the impression that she is thinking about math.
Because of this lack of amusement my eyes drift over to the other side of the table. The side where Marvin, Louise and Harry is seated. He may be a jerk, but he is very handsome one. Eye candy. If he just never spoke, my life would be so much easier.
As I'm admiring his defined facial features and dream about a life where he was nice and sweet and kind, he catches me staring and pulls a funny face. Oh god, how long did he know that I stared. He mouth to me "this is boring" and makes a gun with his fingers and put it against his head. I chuckle slightly and mouth back "tell me about it." After that he keeps making faces. He has some real skills. He does some eyebrow wiggling and blinking with one eye at a time. I'm impressed.
As the third and last plate arrives with dessert the funny faces and mouthing has moved on to secretly looking at each other and catching the other one staring. I really like the dimples that form when he smiles. He has a nice smile, I wish he would show it more often.
I need to use the bathroom and so I excuse myself from the table and search for a bathroom. The one on this floor is occupied so I continue my hunt upstairs. The floor upstairs is just as large as the one downstairs and it's very..... clean and not very personal at all. There are no baby photographs or paintings or anything like that. The first door I open leads to a gym. Not what I need right now. I probably should work out more, but this is not the time. The next door I come to is a different color from the rest, I open it and what's behind it looks to be someone's room. Harry's room. I should not go inside....... but I have to. I look around me to see that no one is coming and then I walk inside. The room is about the same size as mine, but it's very dark. Why would you want a room with dark walls and no happy lighting. My room is pink and colorful and full with posters, pictures and fairy lights. This is depressing. I walk up to his desk and see a piece of paper. Who is she? it reads. What? Who? I want to unfold it and read, but I hear steps in the stairs. I quickly get out and find the bathroom.
In there I get my phone out. I should call Sally and see what she's up to now.
"Hey boo boo! What's up? Are you feeling any better?" Her cheery voice speaks through the phone.
"Yeah, I'm feeling a little bit better. It's probably thanks to the pain killers." I tell her. "What are you doing right now?" I ask.
"Well. I just finished my dinner and now I'm watching some old episodes of Gossip Girl on netflix. Not that exciting. How about you? How's the fancy gala?" She sings the last part.
"Fancy. It's boring and I want to go home."
"Oh stop it! I've never been to a gala! I think it sounds like fun, you know getting all dressed up and eating good foods and hanging out with adults. I wouldn't say no to that." Yes she would, if she knew what it's actually like.
"I wish you were here with me. That would make it so much more fun and I would't be so bored and lonely." I say to her.
"Awe. I wish I could be with you too."
"Well, I have to go. I'll talk to you later tonight." I have to get out of here before people start thinking that I had a bad steak or something.
"Byeeee. Talk to you soon!" she says and hangs up. I get out from the bathroom and right outside I bump into a tall figure.
"Oh I'm so sorry." I say and look up. It's Harry. Did he follow me up here?
"Was that your boyfriend?" He looks at me with serious eyes.
"W-what" Did he listen to my conversation?
"Was it Paul or Tim this time?" He backs away from me.
"No, I...." I'm cut off before I could finish.
"Oh, I saw you all flirty with Tim today and you almost kissed Paul before. And you have the nerve to call me a player! Hypocrite!" He shouts and walks away. Again.
Great job Lola. You got him to scream at you twice in one evening. Amazing.
