Chapter 6:
It was now right after the match, Gryffindor had won the match, it was a great win too. The 5 kids were now walking through the courtyard, bombarding Aiden with questions about the trick he did. "I've never seen anyone do that in a quidditch match before! How'd you even come up with such a trick?!" Ron said still amazed by the boy's trick. Aiden didn't want to lie, but he wanted to tell the redhead that he came up with the trick last minute, even if his father taught him the move.
"Well—" He started but before he could continue his lie, His brother interrupted. "Don't you dare lie about it." He said and Aiden rolled his eyes at his brother, in return he got an annoyed smile back. "You're no fun, but our father came up with it and taught me it." Ron was getting even more excited now. The boy really loved Quidditch, he could talk about it for hours, which the twins couldn't understand. Sure, it excited them too, but not as much as it did for Ron. "Why did you want to lie about it?" Harry asked while lifting his brow. "Wanted to give myself the credit, nothing more," Aiden said not slightly bothered about it, he placed his hands behind his head and continued his walk. "You really shouldn't do that Aiden," Hermione said, slightly scolding him.
"I deeply apologize, Miss Granger," he answered mockingly, followed by a chuckle, the rest soon joined when they saw Hermione slightly glare at him. "Don't call me that." She said still glaring daggers at the boy. "Okay, Miss Granger." Aiden then sprinted away from the group, he didn't know if she would follow him but just in case he stepped away from the rest. As he was sprinting away he bumped into someone. He fell onto the ground. Aiden looked up and saw Hagrid. "Oh hello, Hagrid!" Aiden said happily, he stood up and looked up at the large man.
"Hello there Aiden, you didn't hurt yourself did ya?" He asked and Aiden shook his head. The boy stood up and before he knew it they were talking about the quidditch match from earlier. They were talking about the fact that each of the kids thought Snape had something to do with Harry's malfunctioning broom, most of them saw it in action. "Nonsense! Why would snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid asked. Hayden took his notebook out of his pocket again, unlike his brother he did look into the subject also finding it quite suspicious.
"Well, there are numerous reasons why I think he put a curse on his broom. One of them being that he, let's say, hates Harry and most Gryffindors for that matter. He did this to give Slytherin's quidditch team an advantage, Obviously and since Gryffindor's seeker was preoccupied with the broom, The Slytherins could easily make points, because our keeper was also down ." The kids had stayed quiet and listened to Hayden, Aiden was rather surprised that he had thought about all this in a short time, as the match had ended not so long ago. "When the fuck did u think about all of that," Aiden said as he stared at his brother dumbfounded. Hermione elbowed Aiden's side, as he once again cussed and she wasn't very fond of it. "Just now actually. Anyway, Harry, you say something, this is about you after all."
"Well, Uhm... What about on Halloween, I'm pretty sure Snape had tried to get past that three-headed dog."
Hagrid looked down at the raven-haired boy. "Who told you about Fluffy?"
"Fluffy?" Ron questioned. "That thing has a name?" Hermione asked.
"You shouldn't call an animal a thing, Hermione." She rolled her eyes at the boy, which he just chuckled to, for some reason he found it quite funny to annoy her, that's what best friends do to each other anyway. "Of course, he's got a name, He's mine, I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at the pub last year."
