Y/n's POV:

The rest of the week whilst Scarlett was gone went by pretty quickly. By the time she as home I was feeling so much better. I had so much more energy and I had gotten the hang of being one handed that I wasn't so reliant of Lizzie for everything. Though she had been amazing, and I really couldn't thank her enough. I think I'm going to have to work out a gift for her to say thank you.

When she walked through the door, she was shocked to see Ava and I both stood there to greet her. We had heard the car pull up and excitedly were waiting for her to come in. "What a greeting this is!" She exclaims as she places her bag down and greets Ava who runs up to her.

Scarlett easily picks her up and gives her a big hug and a kiss. She then moves her to rest on her hip and walks towards me, placing her hand behind my neck and pulling me down into a sweet kiss. "Welcome home my love." I whisper against her lips, and she smiles. "I'm glad to be back with my girls." She replies easily, turning to look at Ava who's giving her love eyes.

Ava really missed Scarlett when she was away, and I think there was a part of her that was worried we had actually broken up and that's why she was gone. So, when she knew she was coming home that day, she got so excited. It was the cutest thing.

We got to spend some time together over lunch before we headed out to Ava's first therapy session. She's had quite a few nightmares over the last couple of weeks, so I hope this is going to help her. She didn't seem too bothered about going, but I'm not entirely sure she understood what it is.

That was my first time leaving the house since I left the hospital. It was nice to see something other than the walls of the house and the garden. In the car, Scar had a comforting hand on my leg the whole way. I'm definitely more nervous than Ava is. I guess I'm worried about how much this could fuck her up. She never should have seen what happened that day, I just hope that everything will be ok.

I was really grateful that Scarlett was able to get us in with this therapist. I'm not usually a fan of using her celebrity status to get things for us, but when it comes to Ava, I'd do anything. I found myself taking in every little detail as we sat in the waiting room. Scarlett didn't say anything to me but was a comfort to both of us.

When we went in, the therapist talked to the three of us first. We explained what brought us here and she asked us lots of question. She said that it would help for her to get to know Ava better and work out the best plan to help her. Ava was shy at first, but Dr Hogan was great as putting her at ease. She answered all the questions and even asked some of her own.

As the session was coming to a close, Dr Hogan explained that over the next sessions she would use different techniques to help. For example, some sessions they'd just talk, in others Ava would do activities or draw. She also explained that it would be beneficial if at least one of Scarlett or I could be there too.

Scarlett was quick to explain that she would be there for as many sessions as she could and would rearrange her work, so it works for Ava. That made me smile. She offered it without hesitation. We both knew that having both of us here would be most beneficial for Ava.

We went to the ice cream shop on the way home, as I promised my little angel, and I felt so much better. The mood in the car was lighter and Ava seemed to be happy. I know this is the right thing for her and it'll help her process everything that she's been through.

That next week, Scarlett was filming more regularly for Rough Night, but it was now back in LA so she was around a lot more. I wasn't having to be babysat as often, but it didn't stop people from "popping in" on me. However, I was really happy when Tom surprised me.
