Scarlett's POV:

Y/n leaves for London today. She's only gone for 4 days, but I know I'm going to miss her. I'm also very aware that she is going with Julia, who for some reason I just don't trust. I know she hasn't done anything against me or Y/n, but I just have a bad feeling.

I know that Y/n was frustrated with me the other day. I need to stop taking it out on her when I'm jealous or I'm going to end up pushing her away. It's just so hard when my past experiences have almost always ended up in the other being unfaithful. But I know Y/n isn't like that. That's what I need to focus on. She's right. I trust her.

She's leaving this evening on an overnight flight back to the UK. I think she is a bit excited to be going back. She's a very proud English woman, and I know she's missed being there, as much as she has settled in LA. I want to make sure we visit more often, maybe try to go back once a year. It's important for Ava to keep that part of her heritage.

I'm currently just sat on the bed watching as Y/n packs her bags for her trip. It's pretty much just her uniform, but she's put in a couple of outfits for the evenings. She's hoping to go and visit Dicky's family, which I think will do her good. Although it seems to have all blown over, I know that the whole article debacle has really taken it out of her. So, seeing them will hopefully give her a bit of closure.

I offered to drive Y/n to the airport this evening, but of course, Julia is picking her up. Just another reason to be annoyed, taking valuable time I could be having with my girlfriend away!

On the brightside, I'm looking forward to having a few days with just Ava. It's during the week so we've both got school and work, but I'm going to make the evenings as fun as possible. Starting with tonight, where I'm planning on making our own pizzas for dinner.

After Y/n has finished packing, she takes her bag downstairs and gets her hand luggage sorted, making sure she's got her book, headphones and has even downloaded a couple of movies on Netflix in case the ones on the plane are ones she wants to watch.

She's leaving it a little late to leave as she wants to see Ava home from school first. Sophie is dropping her off, then after Y/n has seen Ava, she'll be heading off to the airport to catch her flight. Again, if we were taking her, it'd be more time as a family.

Y/n wanders over to me, sat in the living room. I had finished work early so I can have a bit of time with Y/n. She flops down next to me and lays her head in my lap looking up at me. "I wish you could come with me." She says and I smile. "Me too." I reply, starting to run my hands through her hair. "I know you've been to England before, but I want to take you one day and actually show you around more than just London. There are so many beautiful places to go." She says enthusiastically. "That sounds perfect." I whisper, leaning down and pecking her lips, causing her to smile.

"We should also go to Copenhagen. You can show me around there." She adds, looking at me with pleading eyes. "That actually could be fun. Maybe we could take Hunter too. We've both been meaning to go back." I tell her and she nods. "Make it a family holiday and invite your parents too. They can show us where they lived and all that cute stuff." Y/n says, and I smile at how thoughtful she is.

We lay like this for a while until we hear a car pull up on the drive. Y/n practically jumps off the sofa and sprints to the door to greet Ava. She swings the door open and rushes down the steps. "AVA!" She shouts, making her way to her daughter. When I get to the doorway, she's bending down to pick her up, the both of them giggling.

She also gives Soph a side hug, before walking back towards the house, Ava flung over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. When she gets inside, she drops Ava on the sofa and pulls her into a hug. I decide to make some drinks as she's got about 20 minutes until Julia is due.
