Y/n's POV:

Spending the day at the beach was really great. We all had a great time, and I will never tire of seeing Scarlett and Ava together. Their relationship is growing by the day. I was quite tired, running after Ava around the beach. I also forget that my shoulder is still buggered, even though it's not in a sling anymore, my movement is a bit restricted, and pain is still ever present.

On the way back home, I start to get excited about dinner with Scarlett. I have it all planned out. I just need to execute it. At home, we gather Ava's things to stay with Melanie for the night. It's not long until they're heading off and it's just Scarlett and I left.

We're both still in our clothes from the beach, so when the door closes, I walk up behind Scarlett and wrap my arms around her, resting my chin on her shoulder. I place a couple of kisses against her neck, and I see the goosebumps form on her skin. "Alone at last." I whisper in her ear, causing her body to lean into me. She places her hands over mine whilst I hold her close.

"Why don't I run you a nice relaxing bath and then I can get dinner sort whilst you relax?" I suggest, still peppering her neck and shoulder with kisses. "Hmmm, that sounds nice." She mumbles. If I could pick her up and carry her right now I would, but I'm pretty sure it would end up with us in a heap on the floor!

So, I take her hand and reluctantly let her go from my hold. I guide her upstairs and she sits on the bed whilst I start to run her a bath. I make sure to get the nice bubble bath and bath salts. I dim the lights and place a couple of candles around and start Alexa on a calming playlist.

Once the bath is done, I walk back out to the bedroom to see her on her phone. "Bath's ready my love." I inform her and she gets up walking towards me, letting her cover up fall to the floor, leaving her in her red bikini. She is a goddess and I'm so lucky that she's mine.

As she reaches me, she goes up on her tiptoes and places a kiss on my cheek. "Aren't you meant to be doing dinner?" She whispers and carries on into the bathroom. "Such a tease." I mumble as I hear her laughing.

I leave her too it and grab what I need from the bedroom and leave it in the guest room for when I'm ready to get changed later. Then I rush downstairs to get started on dinner. I had already made her a chocolate cheesecake yesterday when she was working. I had hidden it in the fridge in the basement, so she is none the wiser.

That means all I need to focus on is the food and setting everything up. But first, I poured out a glass of wine and took it back upstairs. I knocked on the bathroom door and waited for a response. "Come in." She replies. I open the door to be greeted by Scarlett in the bath, her eyes closed, and head rested back on the edge of the tub. "A glass of wine for m'lady." I say and she giggles, opening one eye at me. I hand over the glass of wine and she pouts as I go to leave. "What's wrong angel?" I ask, bending down by the bath. "I didn't get a goodbye kiss." She complains. I chuckle but give her want she wants, leaning in and meeting her plump lips.

When I pull away, she smiles at me, content. "That's better." She smiles. "There's no rush, take your time, but when you're done, change into something nice and I'll come and get you when everything is ready." I instruct her and she nods, taking a sip of wine. "Ok babe. Thank you." She responses happily. I stand up and place a kiss on her head before heading back downstairs.

I wanted to cook all of Scarlett's favourite foods today, hence the frittata this morning and the cheesecake for dessert. So, I'm going to do Buffalo wings for the main. It's not the most delicate dish, but I know she'll love it. Lizzie helped me get a really good recipe for the sauce and I decide to do some veg and potatoes with it.

As soon as it's all cooked, I head into the dining room and start to set up the table. I put lots of candles out and make sure I get the best wine. I'm not a huge fan of wine, but tonight I'll make the exception.
