Y/n's POV:

Scarlett and I are woken up by a heavy lump landing on us this morning. "WAKE UP!" Ava shouts, earning a groan from us. Scarlett snuggles into me closer before her eyes snap open. "We're in Legoland!" She says excitedly, as if she has just remembered where we are. "She jumps up and takes Ava in her arms and the two of them are running around the room excitedly talking about the plans for the day.

I roll over in bed and pull the pillow tight into my body, not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed right now. But the comfort doesn't last long when I feel a tug at my leg and before I know it, I'm on the floor. Scarlett is stood over me with a pleased look on her face. "Get up you lazy ass." She jokingly scolds. "That was mean." I huff and she laughs walking off into Ava's room.

After getting a rude awakening, I quickly order some breakfast via room service, and I pick out my outfit for the day. Whilst I'm changing, I can hear huffing and sighing coming from Ava's room. I walk to her room and see her stood in her underwear, dodging Scarlett, better than any NFL running back, whilst she is trying to put sun cream on her. I lean against the door frame and try to hide the laugh as Scarlett is fighting to keep her cool.

"Ava, please. The quicker we get this on you, the quicker we get to go to the park!" Scarlett pleads, but Ava is still dancing around avoiding Scarlett's attempts to catch her. "I don't like it. It's cold and icky." She complains, climbing up on to the bunkbed. I really shouldn't be enjoying this, but it's funny watching Scarlett struggle. She's never had to tell Ava off and I can tell she doesn't want to but is getting frustrated.

"Please Ava." She sighs, dropping her hands to her side. I let out a laugh and she turns to glare at me. But her look soon turns to a pleading one, wanting help to get control over the hyperactive 6 year old. I shrug at her, letting her know it's on her. "Ava, if you don't let me put this on you now then we won't go to the park." She tells her. She tries to be firm, but her voice hesitates as she doesn't want to fully tell her off.

Ava laughs, pretty much calling her bluff, knowing that we're just as excited to be here as her. Seeing that Ava isn't going to listen I decide to step in. "AVA Y/L/N!" She freezes on top of the bunk bed and looks at me. "I'm telling you now, if you do not listen to Scarlett, we will not be going anywhere today." I tell her firmly. I walk towards the bed and hold my hands up to pick her up. "You are being rude by not listening to Scarlett. If she is telling you to do something, you have to listen to her." I scold as I place her on the floor.

"Go and apologise to Scarlett and then let her put the suntan lotion on you." I order her. She complies and goes over with her head hung low. "Sorry Scarly." She mumbles, before giving her a hug. "That's ok Ava. Thank you for apologising. Can I put this on you now?" She asks, waving the bottle at her. She smiles and nods. Scarlett looks up at me and mouths a thank you.

I return to our room so I can finish getting ready as I'm currently just in a bra and shorts. As I'm putting on my own suntan cream, Scarlett wraps her arms around me and grabs the bottle from my hands. "Let me help." She whispers in my ear. Her breath causing goosebumps to appear all over my body.

I turn around and smile at her. "I can run away from you if you like. Make it more fun." I tease and she rolls her eyes. "The difference being I have no problem with throwing you over my shoulder and pinning you to the bed to get this done." She replies. I smirk and stalk towards her, placing my hands on her hips. "Is that meant to dissuade me? I actually like the sound of that." I lean in and whisper the last bit in her ear.

Her cheeks blush and she pushes me backwards. "You two are going to be a handful today I can tell." She jokingly moans. She guides me to sit on the end of the bed and moves my hair away so she can rub the cream into my back. "You know you're allowed to tell Ava off, right?" I tell her and her movements hesitate for a moment. "I guess I don't really know the boundaries and I don't want to overstep." She replies. I take her hand and bring her around to sit on my lap.
