(scene opens to Adventure Beach where Everest and Marshall are on lifeguard duty)
Everest: It sure is a lovely day to be at the beach isn't it Marshall!
Marshall: For sure!
(Ryder walks over checking on them)
Everest: Thanks for letting me help out Ryder!
Ryder: (chuckles) No problem Everest after all you are part of the Sea Patrol!
(scene changes to Cap'n Turbot discovering the Mer-Pups are coming tonight)
Cap'n Turbot: (excited) Oh boy tonight will be the night I finally get proof of the Mer-Pups!
(Cap'n Turbot eagerly runs off to let Ryder know, not knowing Sid and Arrby were eavesdropping)
Sid: So the Mer-Pups will be out tonight. Sounds like the perfect time to return to Puplantis and find treasure that I need, need, need!
Arrby: You sure about that! Captain Boss Mr. Sid, sir? Remember what happened last time!
Sid: Don't worry Arrby this time we'll avoid that pearl producing shell and hopefully those meddling pups won't ruin it this time!
(scene changes to later afternoon where folks begin heading home while Ryder noticed the sun and moon)
Ryder: Looks like something special might happen tonight.
(Cap'n Turbot eagerly runs to Ryder and the pups)
Cap'n Turbot: Ryder! Tonight is the night when I finally get the photos of the Mer-Pups!
(Everest and pups walk over)
Everest: Is something happening tonight?
Cap'n Turbot: Pups great news, the Mer-Pups will be coming out tonight!
Skye and Zuma: Yay!
Marshall and Rocky: Woohoo!
Chase and Rubble: (excited) Oh Boy!
Everest: Huh? Mer-Pups?
Ryder: (realizes) Oh right! You never got to see them have you Everest.
(Everest shakes her head still confused)
(Cap'n Turbot tells Everest about the Mer-Pups and Puplantis)
Everest: Wow! They sound really fun! (depressed) But I should be heading home!
Ryder: I could ask Jake if you could have a sleepover!
Everest: (surprised) Really!
(Ryder calls Jake asking him if it's alright if Everest stays for a sleepover)
Jake: Sure thing dude! I have no problem with Everest staying with you guys plus things are calm in the mountains!
Everest: Thank you so much Jake!
Jake: No problem girl, see you in the morning! Bye!
Everest: Bye and thanks again!
Jake: Later!
(Jake ends calls)
(Everest tackles Ryder and hugs him)
Everest: (happy) Thank you Ryder!
Ryder: (chuckles) No problem Everest.
(Mer-Pups howling)
Pups: Ooh!
Cap'n Turbot: Hey! Why don't I ferry us out in the Flounder to find our Mer-Pup friends!
Pups: Let's go!
