(scene opens up to winter day where Mayor Goodway and Katie walk toward the frozen bay)
Katie: Wow the bay certainly looks frozen solid!
Mayor Goodway: It sure does Katie.
(Gasket walks toward Katie)
Gasket: Whoa! That frozen bay looks like a giant ice rink!
Mayor Goodway: Hm an ice rink? Gasket, that sounds like a great idea!
Gasket and Katie: (confused) Huh?
Mayor Goodway: Katie what do you think about Adventure Bay hosting an ice skating contest with a trophy for the best ice skater!
Katie: That sounds like a lovely idea Mayor Goodway!
Gasket: (concerned) Are you sure that it's safe?
Chickaletta: (nods) (clucks)
Mayor Goodway: True, we should make sure everything is safe before doing anything.
(Mirage leaps over their heads wearing ice skates on her hind paws while skating on her back lets)
Mayor Goodway: Mirage! Do be careful dear!
Katie: It looks like Mirage seems to be having fun!
(scene changes to later when Ryder and Cap'n Turbot arrive to examine the frozen bay)
Cap'n Turbot: Well mayor it appears the bay is perfectly safe to walk on!
Gasket: We kinda already knew something. (points to a ice skating Mirage)
Ryder: Wow! I didn't know Mirage could ice skate on her back legs!
Mirage: (shouts) I can do it on two or four legs! (skates past doing a pirouette)
Group: Wow!
Gasket: She sure has impressive ice skating skills!
(scene changes to Jake and Everest arriving on the beach upon hearing about Mayor Goodway's idea for an ice skating contest)
Jake: Not a bad idea mayor!
Mirage: (skates past) Might I suggest the idea of some folks working in a group for a little extra pizzazz.
Mayor Goodway: Not a bad idea Mirage!
(scene changes to folks gather to watch while Mr. Porter is selling everyone hot chocolate for this chilly day)
Mr. Porter: The perfect day for a little hot chocolate!
Alex: You're right about that grandpa!
(scene changes to Mayor Humdinger and Ladybird both arriving and notice the golden trophy)
Mayor Humdinger and Ladybird: What are you doing here!
Mayor Humdinger: I'm here for that trophy!
Ladybird: Well I'm putting it in my reflection collection!
Ladybird: Well your not gonna...(hit in the face with a pie)
Mirage: (shouts) Take that Ladybird!
Mayor Humdinger: (to self) Good aim!
Ladybird: (mumbled) Annoying genie pup!
(Ryder and Chase arrive to confront the pair)
Chase: Mayor Humdinger and who are you?
Mayor Humdinger: That would be Ladybird!
Ryder: Where'd that pie...
Mayor Humdinger: Come from! Mirage threw it.
