(scene opens to the woods outside in the Barkingburg in the morning where the Duke of Flappington, Jean-Claude, Claw, and Sparks are currently waking up from camping as they discuss their plan of taking over Barkingburg)
Claw: (yawns) So Duke, any ideas that'll finally help us succeed in you becoming king so I can be a knight again!
Duke of Flappington: (yawns) Unfortunately, I've got nothing at the moment!
Sound: (rustling)
Claw and Duke of Flappington: (surprised) What was that?
Sound: (louder rustling)
Claw: (worried) What if it's a bear?
Duke of Flappington: You do know Sparks in here, right? A dragon can scare off a bear easily!
Claw: (unsure) Maybe?
(the shadows of a male figure and a husky rise from the bushes)
Claw, Jean-Claude, and Duke of Flappington: (fearfully hold each other)
Sparks: (whimpering)
Duke of Flappington and Claw: (screams) Monster!
Jean-Claude: (scared squawks)
Male voice: You saw the monster?
Duke of Flappington: (recognizes the voice) I know that voice!
Mason: (steps out of the shadows with Hex following him)
Duke of Flappington: Mason, what are you doing here?
Mason: So you didn't see the monster?
Claw: Monster? Mason, what are you talking about?
Hex: Just an escaped alien outlaw is on the loose, Mason's associates told us he'd be here!
Duke of Flappington: Pardon me for asking, but who is this fellow you speak about?
Mason: Stingrage! He's a virus/devil-themed monster with a stinger trident that fires rage stingers or amnesia stingers!
Hex: Mason, Oracle told us he was back to using rage stingers this time!
Mason: Oh right! I forgot! (to group) Well, we'll be leaving! Just scream if you see him! (walks off with Hex beside him)
Claw: (concerned) Um, do you think he was speaking the truth about a monster being on the loose?
Duke of Flappington: (scoffs) Of course not, he was just trying to scare us!
Claw: (unsure) You sure? He was saying what it looked like and said its name?
Duke of Flappington: (scoffs) What are the chances of us running into a monster in these woods!
Male voice: (cackles) Very likely!
Stingrage: (steps out of the shadows) Glad those two left, now prepare to be stung!
Claw: (screams) He is real!
Stingrage: (fires a rage stinger which hits Sparks)
Sparks: (angry roars before taking flight)
Claw: (worried) Sparks?
Sparks: (fires a fireball at them)
Claw, Jean-Claude, and Duke of Flappington: (shocked gasps)
Mason's voice: (shouts) Black Beetle!
Mason: (leaps over their heads now wearing the Black Beetle as armor while shielding the trio)
Stingrage: (worried) Uh oh!
