I woke up the next morning with puffy eyes and a million missed calls and texts from Leah.I'm so sorry
Y/n?
Please answer.
I can't lose you
I didn't mean any of it.
I'll give you space. Please just tell me you're okay.
I rolled my eyes and walked to the bathroom to have a shower.
I'm fine.
I put my phone away and stepped into the warm water. My mind was still clouded from the night before. Leah had never gotten like that with me before, and that side of her scared the shit out of me. It brought me back to when my mum would scream at me for the littlest of things.
I felt like I had a hangover when I didn't even drink. I had a massive headache from all the crying I did last night. The shower made me feel fresh and calmed my headache a bit. I was just glad that there was no training today. I really didn't want to face Leah.
I got out of the shower and heard someone ringing to get to my door. "Leah fuck off."
"It's Jordan."
I let her in. She was the person I was least expecting to show up at my door. If anything she probably showed up to shout at me for upsetting Leah.
She came in and gave me a hug. I relaxed into her and felt glad that she wasn't going to give me a lecture. I could feel my head go back to last night and my eyes starting to water again.
"Leah told me what happened. I told her off." She told me as she pulled back from the hug and walked me to the couch.
"She knows she's done wrong. She is really upset, like distraught actually." Jordan explained. I rolled my eyes, it felt like she was just here to defend Leah.
"Look if you've came here to try and get me to go and forgive her then you can leave."
"No y/n, that's not why I'm here. I just wanted to check on you." I looked at her and she looked back at me with worry in her eyes.
"I'm 100% not justifying anything. But I have never seen Leah like this, even when we had arguments or if she had an argument with her family she was never like this. I do genuinely believe that you're different." She explained as she took my hand.
I shook my head, "She scared me Jordan."
"I know, and I'm so sorry. Just hear her out." Before I could say anything she continued, "And I'm not saying this because I want you to forgive her. I'm saying this because I think you might be the one for her. I know Leah really well and I know that she really likes you." She explained.
"Fine. She gets one chance to explain herself. But if she does that again we are done, I deserve better than to be shouted at for doing fuck all." I nodded.
Jordan stayed for a couple of hours with me to make sure I was okay. We watched movies and spoke about football. When she had to leave I had calmed down and I was ready to hear Leah out.
"Thank you for coming Jord. I really appreciate it." I gave her a hug before she went to open the door.
"It's no problem. Remember you can talk to me whenever you need to."
After she had left I made a hot chocolate and sat back down on the couch. I twirled my phone about in my hand before I messaged Leah.
We need to talk. Do you want to come over?
