After a long conversation, Leah and I made the decision that it would be best for me to move back into my flat for the time being, with the agreement that I would move back in with her in the future.

"Fuck Y/n/n. I'm really gonna miss you." Leah whispered as she tightened her grip on my body. The morning had been one filled with tears, and now that I was standing at her front door with a suitcase the tears came even faster.

"I know, I know." I replied, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I'm gonna miss you too, you have no idea." I cried.

"Why don't you just stay then?" Leah mumbled, her voice sounding weak from the crying.

I frowned as I pulled away from her hug, instead opting to hold her hands. "Leah..." I trailed, sounding defeated.

"I know. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

She squeezed my hand before walking over to my suitcase and lifting it up to carry it to my car. "Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?" She asked after placing my suitcase in the boot.

"I'm sure." I nodded. "It'll only make it harder than it already is."

Leah nodded before she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist, pulling me in for a final kiss before I left.

"We're acting like we'll never see each other again." I laughed after pulling away. "I'll see you tomorrow at Katie's."

"I know, I know. It's just going to be hard getting used to not sleeping beside you again." Leah sighed. "Although I hope we'll be having more sleepovers?" She gently asked.

"Definitely." I replied. A smile grew on my face as I planted a kiss on her cheek before getting into my car. "I'll text you later, okay?" I continued before shutting the car door.

Leah nodded with a sad smile on her face. "Yeah. I love you, drive safe."

"Will do." I replied. "And I love you too!" I shouted before starting the engine and pulling away from her house.

With a groan I rolled over in my bed for the fifth time that night to check the time on my phone.

4:37am

"Fucking great." I grumbled, stumbling out my bed to get a glass of water in the hopes that it might help. A buzz on my phone interrupted me.

You awake?

It was from Leah. I chuckled slightly at the realisation that neither of us could get to sleep, and I was chalking it up to the fact that this was our first night alone for two months.

Sorry, you're probably not

Ignore me xxx

With a shake of my head I got a glass out of my cupboard and placed it on the counter.

Don't worry I'm also awake xx

I picked up the glass and placed it under the cold water tap, waiting until it was halfway full before removing it and turning off the tap. I made my way back to my bed with my phone still clutched in my hand.

Leah?

Did you fall asleep?

Coming to the conclusion that Leah had definitely went back to bed and that I wasn't going to get any sleep the rest of the night, I got my laptop out and loaded up Netflix to look for a movie to watch while I waited for the sun to come up.

Twenty minutes later another buzz came from my phone.

Let me in your flat please x

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion at her text. It was near enough 5am now so why would she be outside my flat?
