"Leah!" I yelled excitedly as I walked into the house. The loud patter of feet could be heard as Leah ran into the hall where I was standing.

Her face relaxed as she noticed I was standing with a massive grin on my face. "Fucking hell Y/n. I thought something had happened." She replied.

"Something has happened."

"What?" She questioned with her eyebrows raised.

I paused before answering. "I'm coming back. Physio has cleared me."

"Really?" Leah asked, her fear being replaced with excitement. Her eyes widened and a smile took over her face as I nodded my head rapidly.

I squealed in shock as she pulled me into a tight hug. "Le." I choked out. "Can't breathe."

"Sorry." She released me with a giggle. "I'm just so excited for you - well and the team - we need our Y/n back." I blushed at her words.

"Well I'm fully back in training tomorrow." I smiled. Leah returned the smile and my stomach became filled with butterflies. It was insane how just a smile could give me that reaction, it was as if she was a breath of fresh air.

We both walked over to the couch and as Leah turned on the TV I was hit with a feeling of dread. Now that I wasn't injured there was no reason for me to stay with Leah. I let out a sigh at the thought.

"Everything okay?" Leah questioned my reaction. I hummed in agreement as I looked away from the blank wall and to her face.

"You sure?"

I frowned as I saw Leah's eyes begin to narrow out of worry. I never wanted to ruin today after being told that I could come back to training. With a smile I nodded my head. "I'm fine."

Leah shook her head slightly before taking my hand. "I don't believe you."

With a sigh I looked up at the ceiling and closed my eyes at the realisation that she wasn't going to let this go. "It's just." I took a deep breath. Leah squeezed my hand to let me know she was listening. "It's just now that I'm not injured, well there isn't any point in me living here I guess." I continued, looking down at our intertwined hands.

"Oh."

At this I finally looked up at Leah to see her face had contorted into one of confusion. "I mean I just thought you would stay here anyway." She shrugged.

"Oh." I replied. "Umm...I kinda just thought it was maybe a bit soon to permanently move in."

Leah coughed slightly at the awkward interaction and dropped my hand. "Well if that's how you feel then it's fine. Let me know when you're wanting to leave." She looked back at the TV and I saw her jaw tighten.

"Wait I don't want this to change anything." I rambled.

"Yeah I know. It won't." She replied, still not looking at me.

"It feels like it already has." I mumbled. After saying this Leah turned to me and her eyes softened as she noticed the sad look on my face.

"It's okay Y/n/n. I'm not mad or anything, I kinda just feel a little...I don't know," She paused and looked around the room before replying. "Awkward. I'll always support your decisions and if you feel it's too soon then it's too soon." She continued.

I couldn't help but feel a little guilty at the fact that Leah was only agreeing because it was what I wanted. "I really don't want this to affect us." I sighed. "And you don't need to always support my decisions if it isn't what you want."

Leah smiled before wrapping her arm around my shoulder and pulling me into her. "I know. Let's not worry about this now. You're coming back to training and you deserve to be happy today." She said before placing her hand on my cheek and planting a small kiss on my lips.
