It had been a month since the situation with my mum. I hadn't spoke to her since, and I was thinking of blocking her number. Leah and I were great. I wanted to actually ask her to be my girlfriend, officially. But again I didn't want to scare her. I had been a sub in all of our games, but my performance against Chelsea was so good that Jonas had put me in the starting lineup.

Our next game was in France against Lyon. I was looking forward to making my starting debut for Arsenal...and sharing a hotel room with Leah. Jonas had let us know a couple of days before we were due to leave who we were rooming with. I was originally sharing with Beth, but Viv and I swapped so that she could be with Beth and I could be with Leah.

We were leaving tomorrow at 7am to give us a chance to settle in before the game the next day. So after training I came straight home to pack my things.

"Should I bring my flask?" I asked Ella. We were on Facetime and she was helping me with packing.

"No y/n. I'm sure they'll have something over there. Plus you're only in France for like 48 hours, I'm sure you would survive." She laughed. I was really bad at packing, I tend to pack too much when I'm only going somewhere for a short amount of time. I just like to be prepared.

"No Ella. You know I wouldn't." I replied dramatically.

"Y/n you're going to go over your weight." She continued to laugh.

I looked around my room and saw the mess that it was in. I was so busy focusing on what I had to pack that I hadn't realised I had being throwing things about in the process. I fell down to my back and groaned while I stared at the ceiling.

"You are an adult. How are you so bad at this?" She asked in disbelief.

I sat back up and went over to my phone. "I don't know, okay. It looks like a fucking bomb has went off in my room."

She laughed again. "Let me see."

I picked up my phone and turned the camera so that she could see the floor as I walked around. I heard her scream slightly then burst out laughing. "Oh my fucking God y/n. That is so bad."

I turned the camera back to my face and scoffed, "Right Tooney, it's not that funny."

"No, but the thought of you having to clean all that up is."

"I'm hanging up now." I heard her still laughing as I pressed the end call button. I went onto our messages.

🖕U Tooney.

I'm still laughing btw ;)

After about half an hour I had managed to tidy up and had a rough idea on what I was going to pack. I shut my suitcase and took it through to my front door. After some thought, I ran to my kitchen and got my flask, deciding to just bring it anyway.

The next day I woke up to my alarm blaring at me. 05:00. Jesus fucking christ. Too early to function. I rolled out of bed and walked through to the bathroom. I turned the dial on my shower to cold, deciding it would be good to wake me up.

"Okay. 1. 2. 3." I jumped in the shower and immediately started hyperventilating. Definitely woke me up.

"Holy shit." I shouted. "Holy actual mother of God. Fucking. Hell!" I jumped up and down slightly in my shower. Eventually I got used to the temperature.

"Never again." I mumbled to myself as I grabbed my toothbrush and looked in the mirror.

After I was ready I walked through to get my suitcase and walked out of the door. It was really cold. I felt my ears nip and I shivered. I jumped in the car and started the engine.
