I bust into my older sister's bedroom to see my dad had already given her the gifts he and Renee corresponded on.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISABELLA SWAN!" I yell at her as I throw my arms around her for a tight hug.
"Shhh! Please calm down, there's nothing to be happy about" Bella pouts.
"What do you mean? you're an adult now!" I cheer to her. Bella always had a weird fear of aging and it got worse now that she is "older" than Edward even though he is over a hundred years old.
"I think I see a grey hair starting to peak out," Charlie teases her.
Bella gasps and ran to the mirror to look. I laugh and high five my dad.
"would you two just get out?" Bella groans at us.
We laugh as we follow her wishes and walk out of her room.
The trip to school was quiet as Bella was nervous about what was in store for the day. I knew Alice would not let this day pass without making a big deal out of it. I was hopeful to get cake out of it but I know Bella would rather act like it's just another day.
Edward greeted us when we got to the school. Bella's group of friends had approached her so I went to Edward first.
"How is she?" He asks me knowing how much she was dreading the day.
"A bit moody, but she'll be okay," I answer with a shrug.
"your boyfriend is here," He tells me softly as Bella approaches us. I glance up to where he was looking and seen Embry standing with Jake. I grin and make my way to Embry, excited to see my man.
"Hi baby!" I say loudly, letting everyone know he was mine.
"Hey, my love!" He says with the same enthusiasm and wraps his arms around my waist for a hug. My arms immediately go around his neck and I lean up for a kiss. He meets me halfway and presses his lip against mine. I could feel eyes on us, i'm sure Jessica was already planning the next rumor to spread about me.
"Do I mean absolutely nothing to you now?" Jake asks with a pout.
I laugh and give him a quick hug before he turns his attention to Bella.
"What are you doing here?" I ask Embry.
"I figured i'd tag along with Jake to see my girl," He answers, taking my hand into his.
"It was a lovely surprise, i've missed you," I tell him with a smile.
"I always miss you," He replies and presses a kiss to my forehead, "do you want to hang after school?"
"I can't, I know Alice already has something planned for Bella's party. Definitely this weekend though?" I ask.
He agrees and presses another kiss to my lips before we separate.
