Isabella is back

It's been a week since my sister came home. She always seems so sad and I try my best to cheer her up with movie nights and cuddles. I know my sister loves me, but coming to Forks was definitely not her first choice.

I walk out of my room which used to be my dad's before he gave it up so Bella could have my room. I feel bad that now my dad sleeps on the couch, but i know he usually sleeps there anyway. I would always come down in the middle of the night to him snoring. It became one of my favorite things to come down and cover him up with a kiss to the cheek.

"Bells, we are going to be late," I call out to her as I slide on my converse. She stumbles out and I giggle at her.

"Don't be a brat," She glared at me playfully before giving me a nudge. I followed her down the stairs and out to our truck. Dad finally gave in to giving us a vehicle after I begged him for months. I was tired of riding around in the chiefs police car. it's already hard enough being his daughter.

— school—

"He's here!" Bella yell whispers to me. I look at her in confusion then see how wide her eyes are looking back at me.

"Ohhhh! Eddie is back," I grin at her. Edward has disappeared for like 4 days after meeting Bella. She thinks it's because he hates her but I assured her he was probably out with the flu.

"I'm so nervous, Maggie," Bella groans, her hands going to cover her face. I glance over at the Cullens on the other side of the parking lot and frown.

I pull her into a hug and assure her it will be okay, "I'll kick his ass if he's mean to you" I promise.

I seen a smirk form on Rosalie's face after I said that as if she could hear me.

I pulled Bella into the school with me. I was a year behind her as I was a year younger. Charlie ended up hooking up with my mom after Renee left and she fell pregnant. She left as soon as she had me and I have no idea who she even is. My dad thinks it's better this way. I just think a mom would be nice to have.

Bella and I separated as we had no classes together except gym, which I love seeing her in. She is so clumsy, it's hilarious. Once, she hit mike in the back of the head with a ball!

I was taking a couple of AP classes such a history which landed me in a class with Rosalie Hale. Gosh, is she beautiful. I can't help but adore her. She helps me a lot with my work as we sit next to each other. I really appreciate her help.

AP history is my first class of this long dreadful school day so I make my way in. Rosalie is already sitting at our table so I walk towards her and take a seat.

"Hi, Rosie Posie," I grin at her with the nickname I gave her at the beginning of the year.

"Hey, Mags," She grins back at me.

"I am so happy your brother is finally back, hopefully Bella will stop crying about how he hates her," I say, pulling my books out of my bag. I felt Rose tense beside me and I glance up at her confused. She has an unreadable expression on her face.

"Yeah I'm glad he is finally feeling better," She replies after a few moments of silence. I nod as class begins and the teacher starts his lesson.

I felt Rosalie gently run her fingers through my hair as I took notes. It was so soothing that I wanted to melt into her touch. I hadn't seen the Cullens be this way towards anyone. They hardly even looked at their classmates let alone touch one. I'm not sure why Rose took a liking to me, but I didn't care. She was becoming a close friend of mine and I wouldn't have it any other way. I see the looks I get when I talk to her in the halls or she has me sit at their table. I'm not sure what they say about us. The guys wish they could be with Rosalie and the girls wanted to be her, probably.

"Sit with us at lunch today?" I hear Rose ask and I give a quick nod. I don't have many friends here as I chose hanging out at the reservation with the boys instead of making friends here over the summers.

The Cullens only just moved here a year ago so they are not aware of my reputation with the reservation boys. I knew a rumor went around that I was sleeping with all of them last year, but the rumor died down before the Cullens arrived. Once they were here, that's all anyone could talk about.

The rumor wasn't true. One of the boys, Mike Newton, seen me kiss Paul Lahote and decided to blab to Jessica the blabbermouth. The rumor spread so quick. Of course Bella is friends with the people that started that terrible rumor so I stay away from them at lunch.

Class was finally over and I follow Rose out of the classroom. She was greeted by Emmett and a small smile formed on my lips.

"Hey Bear!" I grin up at him. He's so big compared to myself, it was intimidating at first until I learned that he's like a big teddy bear which is how he got his nickname.

"Hello little bear," He said, patting my head gently. I giggle and swat his hand away.

"I'll catch up with you guys later," I say before walking away from the beautiful couple.

-lunch-

I walk into the cafeteria. My eyes meet Bella's and I smile at her. She is sitting with her friends as usual. The cullens are already at their table so I make my way to them. Rose already has food waiting for me as she usually does.

I sit between Rose and Alice. They all greet me and I smile on return, "nice to see that you're back, eddie,"

Edward hid the small smirk that was forming and threw a carrot at me, "don't call me that"

I shook my head and glanced at my sister. Her eyes were already on me with a look of jealousy in her eyes.

"do you like my sister?" I suddenly ask Edward.

"It's complicated, Maggie," He replies. When I look up at him, he's already looking at Bella.

"Sure it is. You both clearly like each other. What's so complicated about that?" I wonder out loud.

"I promise you'll find out soon enough," Alice says with a small smile.
