Bella was finally getting better. She's been spending a lot of time with Jake working on bikes she found at the junk yard. Embry and I hang out with them sometimes, but we mostly spent time at Sam's with the rest of the pack. I know Jake doesn't understand it, but he will soon. Bella invited us to the movies with a group of her friends but I really did not want to deal with it. I still hadn't forgave Mike and Jessica for all the rumors they have spread about me.
"Maybe we should do our own thing tonight," Embry suggests.
"Like what?" I ask him. We were sitting on my bed with That 70s Show playing in the background.
"We could hang out with Paul and Juliet, even invite Remington so he doesn't feel left out."
"That sounds fun! I feel like I haven't seen them in so long," I agree. Juliet has became my best friend since that day we ditched school together. Rem also understands that I love Embry and he's okay with just being friends. Paul, on the other hand, has fallen hard for Juliet. Sam knows it will end bad as Paul did not imprint on her. I'm just afraid of my best friend getting her heart broken, but she's incredibly tough.
We spent the night playing video games with Paul, Juliet, and Rem. Juliet and I snuck off to gossip about the boys.
"They're probably making out," I hear Paul tell the guys.
Juliet and I start laughing at the statement, "in your dreams, lover boy!" Juliet calls out to him.
"Oh definitely in my dreams, baby— Ow!" I hear a whack which I assume comes from Embry.
"Stop dreaming about my girlfriend!"
"I can't help that she's hot!"
I laugh and drag Juliet back into the living room where the guys were.
I take a seat on Embry's lap and kiss his cheek. Juliet sits beside Paul and he places an arm around her.
"I am so single," Rem sighs out with a pout on his lips.
"Awe! Rem!" I lean over to squeeze his cheeks. He brushes my hands away and groans.
