Charlie was quickly losing both of his daughters to a deep depression after the Cullens had left town. Bella barely left her room except to go to school. Maggie was falling apart in more ways than one. She had lost a mother figure and a friend. Embry wasn't taking her calls and ignored her for over a month. Billy called to tell her that Embry was sick with mono.

I felt completely alone. Bella wouldn't talk to me, Embry wouldn't talk to me, and I had no way of contacting the Cullens. I know my dad was trying but he was at a complete loss on how to help us. I was growing frustrated with Embry, how was he too sick to even take my calls? I remember Jake explaining the way Paul and Sam had acted. I hope Embry wasn't falling into their "cult".
I sat at the Cullen's table across from Bella. We didn't say anything and barely touched our food. I look down at my hands, not wanting to look at anyone.
"Excuse me, are you Magnolia Swan?" I hear a voice say to me. I glance up and am met with a boy with messy light brown hair and deep brown eyes.

"Uh yeah, that's me" I answer, straightening up in my seat and keeping my eyes on the attractive boy in front of me. Bella seen my movement and rolled her eyes before getting up and walking away without a word.
"I'm Remington or Rem for short. I was going to see if you and your sister, but I guess not your sister, wanted to join me and my sister," He rambles, a blush present on his cheeks.
"Are you guys new?" I ask him.
"Yes, that's my sister, Juliet, over there," He points over to his sister. A beautiful brunette waves at me with a smile on her face.

"Okay, yeah i'll come sit with you guys," I say with a smile. I grab my untouched food and follow Rem to the empty table with just his sister.
"Hi, I'm Juliet!" The brunette says to me.
"Hi, I'm Maggie," I tell her as I take a seat next to her. Rem sits across from us.
"When did you guys move here?" I ask them, looking between the two.
