Reception

I watch as Embry has Sammy in his arms on the dance floor. I've had people approach me all night and I have no idea how my antisocial sister did this when she was human. I would be absolutely exhausted by now.

Emmett walks over to me and holds out his hand, "shall we?"

"You know I can't dance," I point out with my eyebrow raised at him.

"Magnolia Call, dance with your father," He says sternly.

"Did dearest mother put you up to this?" I tease, taking his hand.

"Psh no," He says with his charming smile.

I let him lead me to the dance floor and place my free hand on his shoulder as his goes to my back.

"Just step on my feet," He offers.

"I'm not five," I roll my eyes.

"Humor me please."

I sigh dramatically but step on his shoes anyway. He holds onto me and begins to move us with grace. The dancing genes do not run in the Swan family so I let Emmett do most of the work.

"This isn't so bad now is it?" He asks me.

"No, it's not," I agree, giving his cheek a light kiss.

I look around at everyone here. My dad is talking to Carlisle and Esme. Nessie is dancing with Edward while Bella is watching them from the distance with Jake. Seth and Juliet are dancing beside Remington and Bree. Alice and Jasper are dancing with Emily and Sam. I never imagined that the shifters and vampires would be able to combine like this. It's a beautiful sight to see. I set my chin on Emmett's shoulder with a sigh.

"Are you happy?" Emmett asks me.

"Very happy," I tell him.

It was time for speeches and this is easily the most stressful part of a wedding. You never know what's going to come out of these peoples' mouths.  I take a seat next to Embry on the loveseat I chose to have instead of a table. It's a beautiful set up and Alice did a wonderful job with my ideas. Of course, she could already see what I decided I wanted which made it a very quick process.

Embry hands me a glass of champagne and wraps his arm around me. I glance around for Sammy and spot her with Rosalie.

Emmett is the first to take the stage which is definitely going to be interesting. The only one here that does not know the relationship I have with Emmett and Rosalie is my dad. I have a feeling he is about to find out.

Unlike Bella, I wasn't close to a lot of humans besides Juliet and Remington. Now Remington is a vampire and Juliet knows everything. My dad is the only human here besides Sammy that doesn't know the supernatural world that he is very much a part of.

Emmett clears his throat and begins his speech,
"Never in  all of my years did I expect to be giving a speech at my daughter's wedding. My wife and I waited many years to find someone as wonderful and as sweet as Magnolia to fill the emptiness in our lives. I'm very proud to be here to watch her happiness radiate off of her as she sits next to her new husband. You two are making history in this world and I am honored to be apart of this journey."

I can't help but to smile at Emmett. He really is the kindness teddy bear I've ever seen. Someone so big and tough has the sweetest dead heart.

Rosalie takes the stage after Emmett,
"I'll be honest, when I first found out a dog had imprinted on my daughter, I was livid. No such creature could be good enough for her. No creature in general could be good enough for her. Fortunately, Embry proved himself to me by protecting her and loving her every single day. I couldn't have chose a better man for my Magnolia."

My dad's eyes widen once he realizes that just like Jake, Embry can turn into a giant wolf. It was hilarious seeing my dad's reaction to being around Jake after Jake had showed himself.

I look at Embry and his eyes are already on me. I press my hand to his cheek and lean in to kiss him. He leans at the same time to connect our lips. His warm ones against my cold ones seem to fit perfectly together.

I draw my attention back to Juliet entering the stage,
"Hello fellow creatures. My name is Juliet if you don't know me and I am Maggie's maid of honor. I haven't known the Cullens or the tribe for long but both groups welcomed me with open arms. Remington and I didn't have much family when we moved here and now we have such a big family. I got to watch my best friend marry the love of her life and I am so happy for you two."

I give out my hands up to make a heart and she does the same thing back as she walks of the stage.

The rest of the reception was beautiful. People danced and talked the entire time. My world felt complete and safe for this one night. I had already made the arrangements for Sammy to stay with my dad. My bags are packed and in the car for Embry and I.

"You ready?" I hear Embry asks me.

I nod as I look out to the line that everyone formed to send us off.

Embry takes my hand and leads me down the little aisle they made for us to walk between. Cheers are happening all around us and we are stopping to hug everyone.

We are finally able to get in the car and I take a deep unnecessary breath.

Embry glances over at me with a small laugh.

I make eye contact with him with a grin on my face, "hi baby."

"Hi Mrs. Call, are you ready for our honeymoon?" He asks, taking my hand into his.

"Yes, I am," I agree, squeezing his hand gently.

Here comes the honeymoon.
