I helped Mercedes carry presents into my dads' house since she likes to go hog wild with shopping. I prefer gift cards. Let the people buy their own damn crap.

Oliver and Conner met us at the door and helped us with the gifts.

"Did you buy out the store?" Oliver asked us.

"No. My girl loves to shop. Me, not so much," I said.

"You sound like Romeo."

"At least Romeo and I agree on that aspect."

Oliver shook his head and placed the gifts by the tree. Conner took our coats from us and hung them up. I saw the family mingling. Sofie made a beeline to Mercedes and dragged her away. Well, okay, then.

"I see things worked out between you and Mercedes," Casper mentioned.

"Yeah, considering Cherisse tried to fuck me," I replied.

"Did it ever occur to you that Cherisse has issues?"

"Cherisse is a fucking bitch."

Casper arched his brow. Why sugarcoat bullshit? I made the mistake of sticking my dick in that bitch, and it bit me in the ass.

"I heard Nash is overseeing the paternity test."

"Yeah, Grayson told me when he called."

"At least Cherisse can't screw with the results."

"No shit."

Odin walked over to us and handed me a drink. "What are we talking about?"

"Oh, how Jordin got his head out of his ass and she-devil trying to ruin Jordin's life," Casper said.

"So, the same old, same old," Odin said.

"Yep," Casper said.

"I heard you're no longer a monk," I mentioned.

Casper looked at Odin. "Oh?"

Odin rolled his eyes.

Liam walked over to us. "What are we talking about?"

"Your brother gave up the monkhood," Casper said.

"It's about damn time," Liam said.

"There's nothing wrong with waiting," Odin said.

"It isn't as if you're wrapped up in a fantasy relationship," I said.

Odin shot me a glare. I shrugged.

"Where's Kate?" Odin asked.

"Kate is with the girls and Hayes and talking about us," Liam said.

"Oh, so you're my booboos' girls and guys! Come hug Grammy!" Grammy yelled from the other room.

"Shit. We should rescue our significant others before Grammy loses her mind," Casper said.

"What are you talking about? Grammy already lost her mind," Liam said.

"Don't let Grammy hear you say that," Odin said.

"I heard that, Liam! I have a bone to pick with you!" Grammy said.

We turned our heads to see Grammy scowling and waving her finger in a come hither to Liam. Liam sighed and walked toward Grammy. We laughed. Better him than us.

The girls and Hayes made their way to us as Liam got his ass chewed by Grammy.

"Your grandmother has some colorful language," Mercedes said.
