Monza - {Lando Norris}

Chapter 9

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone has a good night and stays safe <3

"3...2...1... GO!" Lando screams at the top of his lungs and I begin to run as fast as I can, whilst running only then do I notice all the people look at me with confused looks, as I look at them I wonder why I'm doing this, usually I would be so embarrassed to even walk past these people but here I am full sprinting towards them. Finally Lando shouts "ONE!!!!" to let me know that my 10 second head start was over and I hear the slaps of his feet on the ground coming towards me fast. I would say that I'm around 15 seconds away from the entrance and I push myself to win this silly little race, the people notice that it's Lando and begin to take out their cameras and run towards him, I take that as my chance to win. Finally I get to the turnstiles and I look around to see Lando crowded by multiple people, he sees me looking at him and drops his head to the ground in defeat. After 10 minutes of standing by myself Lando finally makes an appearance "Sorry about that, I hate getting caught up by that but it looks bad on me if I was to ignore them" I smile at him and fix the bit of hair that's stuck on my lips "It's fine... now give me my prize" He looks shocked at the demanding tone in my voice "I mean I did win the race so I don't know why you looked shocked" I giggle as he takes the lanyard out of his pocket and basically throws it to my hand "Next time Sofia, you won't be so lucky" He begins to walk towards the turnstiles and begins to dig through his pockets as I tap the card onto the scanner and it pops up saying that I'm Lando's guest. Once I'm through to the other side, Lando is still stuck on the other side digging through his bag now, he turns around to the man standing at the turnstiles "Yeah, you're going to hate me... I forgot my pass" The man laughs and tells Lando he can go through and Lando jumps over the turnstile and I can't help but smile at it "Told you, I always forget it. At least that dude was nice, there's been times that I've had to prove that I was Lando Norris" He fixes his hair "Oh yeah,imagine not everyone knowing that you're Lando Norris" I smile towards him "Suppose so, you didn't know who I was a couple days ago and now look at us, a bunch of besties hanging out" I squint my eyes together "Bunch of besties? Who said we were friends in the first place" I look around and see that the paddock is bursting with people, all types of different people wearing different brands of F1 merch "I'm saying it cause that's what we are now Sofia" he sarcastically comments "Now come on and hurry up, you don't need to look at every single motorhome. They aren't that interesting, the McLaren is the best one and don't say it's cause I drive for them." He grabs my hand and drags me through the crowd of people. 

I finally see the orange McLaren motorhome in the distance and notice that there's multiple reporter's standing outside with their cameras and microphones "Tada!" Lando basically screams into my ear as we finally are standing outside it "What do you think Sofia? Wait to you see inside it" I take it all in as I stare at it "It's very.... orange" Lando goes to speak again but a reporter is standing in front of him with the camera basically down his throat "Hi Lando, who do we have with us today?" The camera pans towards me and I force an awkward smile "Hi Ted, this is my friend Sofia" Ted looks at me and then makes his way down to where Lando and I are still holding hands "Friends you say Lando?" He then turns around to the man holding the camera and begins to speak to it "I don't know about anyone else but pretty sure I don't hold hands with my friends unless it's a new thing these young ones are up to, guess I need to get updated with what the young ones get up to these days!" He lets out a bellow of a laugh and then turns back around to me and Lando "So Lando's friend, do we get a name or shall we name you mysterious lady?" He chuckles again, I look up at Lando and he gives me a quick smile "Yeah, I'm Sofia. Nice to meet you" Ted smiles at me and hints at the camera man to put the camera on me "What a lovely name Sofia, lovely to meet you. Are you here for the full weekend or is this just a one day appearance?" I clear my throat and fix my posture "Only for a day unfortunately" Ted then turns around to the camera again "What a shame everyone, Sofia is only here for the one day but possibly we could see her again sometime soon if Lando decides to up the relationship." Ted winks at Lando. He then turns round once more and pats Lando on the back "Good luck this weekend buddy and hope to see you again sometime Sofia" With that he struts off and finds his new victims to mess around with. "Sorry about that, Ted can be a bit much, I'm not sure why he mentioned a relationship but sure, let me show you around the fabulous motorhome, you will love that" He basically drags me up the steps and inside the motorhome. Inside the motorhome is nothing like the outside, it's incredibly modern and the furniture is gorgeous, Lando quickly greets the people who are all sitting down and he makes his way up the stairs and I follow him until we get to a door with a big 4 on it"This is my room, we can chill here for a while" He pushes the door open and throws his stuff on the ground and then hints at me that I can take a seat on the bed and once I do he shuts the door and then he throws himself on the bed and takes out his phone.
