Monza - {Lando Norris}

Chapter 20

We arrive at Lando's parent's house and as we drive up the path I look at the house in amazement, it's absolutely gorgeous, there's multiple cars parked outside and over to the left of the house is a stable. I'm pulled from my trance when the car suddenly stops as Ben turns around to face us "That's us, I'll bring your bags in" He smiles and Lando cheerfully thanks him and hops out of the car before walking around to my side and opening the car door for me "You look nervous, you alright Sofia?" He asks as he reaches his hand out to me, I nibble at my bottom lip "I've never met anyone parents before, I don't know what to say or do and to make the matter worse I could be dressed more appropriately compared to wearing sweats if I'm meeting your family" I quickly try to fix my hair as it's currently in the worst messy bun ever, I let it fall down my back before brushing my fingers through it resulting in it looked wavy and a bit better than before, Lando looks me up and down before shutting the car door after me "I think you look beautiful and my parents won't mind, don't stress about it, just be yourself" He quickly grabs my hand before pulling me to the front door and knocking on it, a couple milliseconds later he attempts to open it "Locked, they better be home. I texted them to tell them we were coming" Lando takes his phone out and begins to ring his mum before the door swiftly opens and stood there is a older looking woman "Ah Lando" She joyfully says before pulling him into a hug, he lets go off my hand to hug her back as I awkwardly stand there. The hug goes on for a couple of seconds before Lando pulls himself off her and fixes up his hair, the woman then glances over to me "And you must be the friend? Pleasure to meet you, I'm Cisca, Lando's mother. Please come in" She moves aside holding the door open and once both I and Lando are fully in the house she shuts the door "Your father is in the kitchen, go there and we can properly introduce ourselves to your friend" She smiles at me and she moves quickly as Lando follows her with me following him. "Look Adam, Lando and his friend have arrived" The man sitting at the table closes the laptop in front of him before getting off his seat "Well done last weekend my boy, I'm so proud of you." His dad pats him on the back before giving him a brief hug "Take a seat, we can catch up" We both take a seat beside each other as Lando's mother brings over a tray of scones along with a jug of water with glasses "So Lando are you going to introduce us to your friend?" His dad speaks up as Lando sips down the water "Yeah, so mum and dad this is Sofia, and then Cisca and Adam for you"  His dad laughs as Lando begins to eat a scone "Wow, what a formal introduction Lando, so Sofia tell us about yourself" I look at both of Lando's parents before quickly taking a sip of water to quench my thirst "So, my name is Sofia de Rossi, I'm from Monza, I lived there with my parents until a couple years ago until my dad moved here for a job opportunity so I lived here for 2 years I think and then I made the decision to move back to Italy. I was a hotel receptionist but I recently quit, I got an offer with W Model Management so that's why I'm here in London, I'm going to their business tomorrow" His dad nods his head as his mum texts away on her phone as I feel anxious at the thought of her possibly texting her friends to say she hates me or something, as if she's reading my mind she sets his phone down "Sorry for being rude and sitting on my phone, Flo and Cisca are texting me wanting to stay at their friend's house tonight" Adam looks towards his wife before looking back at me and Lando "Yes, we have 2 daughters as well, one named after her mother incase that confuses you Sofia" Adam laughs softly "So Lando, what are your plans for this 2 week break then? You getting up to anything exciting?" Lando glances at me "Yeah, me and Sofia are going to Bali for a couple of days and then possibly maybe go somewhere after that" He smiles "That sounds fun! So Sofia, modelling? I must say I'm surprised that you didn't get an offer like that before now, you're a stunning girl! I would have killed to look like that at your age!" She laughs loudly as Lando tuts. We stay down talking to his parents for another hour or two before excusing ourselves, Lando invites me into his room after leaving my suitcases in the room next to his, we just lie on his bed for a while before I leave to go to sleep due to having a busy day tomorrow.
