Sofia is a hotel receptionist who wants to explore new opportunities, once she meets Lando she gets her wish but is it really worth it? The fame is new to her, will she be able to cope with the constant reporters and fans harassing her every second...
I'm stirred awake by loud bangs emitting from the house, I rub at my eyes and sit up in horror as I try to figure out what's going on, my first thought is that possibly the house is being broken into, I turn around to see that I'm in the bed by myself, I viciously rub at my head as it pounds with a dreadful hangover. I slowly remove myself from the bed and walk over to the door where I peak out from, not getting a good view from this perspective, I slowly open the door holding it so then it won't creak, I creep to the top of the stairs and still I see nothing, no robbers and no Lando but yet the bangs are still happening. I hesitantly walk down the stairs as I look around for anything strange. The bangs get louder the closer I get to the garage door so I slowly push it open and to my relief Lando is standing topless with a pair of earphones in working out, his back is facing me so he hasn't noticed me basically spying on him as I watch him lift the weight up and down, his back muscles contracting every time he does so, the sweat on his back makes the muscles pop out that tiny bit more and I feel like a creep for standing here staring at him but I can't pull my gaze off him. Suddenly the bar is thrown onto the ground as he walks over to a small bench with a drink of water and a towel sitting on it, he wipes his face with the towel before taking a sip of water. He looks into the mirror that is situated to the wall in front of the bench and we make direct contact, he turns around and removes his earphones "Have you been standing there long?" I quickly shake my head nod as he stares at me "Are you well rested? We have a long flight today, our plane departs at 5pm so we'll leave here at like 2?" He glances over to the clock and it reads 9:20am, god I really need to get use to these early mornings. Lando walks back over to the bench to pick up his phone and his remaining items "So what do you want to do today then?" We begin to make our way from the garage back into the kitchen as Lando throws a t-shirt on "Um, I'm not too sure, what could we do?" Lando sits down on the sofa begin turning to look at me "Have you had breakfast?" I shake my head "Well we could go out for a bit on the horses? My sister would probably kill me for even offering it but sure they aren't here" I listen to him intently "Right, you get some breakfast then and I'm going to go showered, wear something warm as well" I nod my head as he marches upstairs and I begin to make my way to the kitchen debating what to eat, I decide on just a boring bowl of cereal. I quickly eat my breakfast before going upstairs and getting ready, for my outfit I pick a plain pair of black leggings, a black essentials hoodie along with a nude gilet with a pair of converse on my feet, I tightly tie the converse before throwing my head into a messy ponytail. I walk out of the room and down the stairs to see both the living room and kitchen still empty, he must still be in the shower, I walk into the living room and sit on the sofa whilst looking around at all the pictures hanging on the wall. On one of the walls there's a picture of each child with their names underneath it, then a picture of Cisca and Adam on their wedding day and then finally a huge photo of the whole family together. I examine the photo of Lando and see that it's from his karting days, he's smiling in the photo holding a trophy, I can't help but laugh at the photo of him. I hear Lando's footsteps on the stairs and I quickly take my phone out and take a photo of young Lando.
"You know what you're doing right?!" Lando shouts back to me as he's ahead, I've never rode a horse before and god it's stressful, I feel like the horse is going to throw me off whereas Lando is relaxing "NO!" I shout back trying to find a good position to sit on the horse, I hear Lando laughing as his horse trots on naturally "Yeah, I probably should have given you Chief, Bella isn't the best behaved!" He slows up and I finally catch up with him "Ah thanks so much Lando, give me a difficult horse while you get an easy one" He smiles as we begin our adventure through a small muddy forest. The birds are singing loudly as the sunshine blast through the gaps in the trees, Bella has finally started to behave herself and I feel more comfortable riding her "This is so relaxing, I could spend all day out here" Lando's horse neighs quietly as we trot through a small flowing river, Lando shakes his head whilst laughing to himself "You only think that, wait another 20 minutes or so and once your ass starts to hurt, you'll take that statement back" We just talk about absolute nonsense for the rest of the walk before making our way back to Lando's house "So Sofia are you excited for Bali?" I turn around to glance at him before focusing my eyes on the path again "Yeah! I really am, I'm happy I'm doing it with you" Lando agrees with me "Yeah, it should be thrilling... Do you want to talk about last night? I've tried to tell myself not to ask but I can't stop thinking about it" Lando pulls his horse up beside a fence and I turn Bella around to do the same. We both remain on the horses just facing each other as Lando stares deep into my eyes as he waits for my answer "Yeah, suppose we could" I look out to around the nature as Lando nibbles on his bottom anxiously "If I didn't come... would you have kissed Pierre?" As soon as he asks the question his eyes go straight to the ground and they don't dare to look at me in the case the answer isn't what he wants to hear "No" I abruptly say, Lando glances up at me as his facial expressions are hard to read "I wouldn't have. I am sorry for dancing with him like that with him but the whole time I was thinking of you, and I saw you with that girl... I didn't do it out of jealousy in case that's what you're thinking. I was just dancing friendly with him and the next thing I know he's trying to kiss me, but for your answer it's a no and I swear on my mama's and papa's life over that" I hold out my pinky finger "I pinky promise you I wouldn't have, I like you more and more everyday Lando and I can't wait to see where this goes" A huge wholesome grin fills Lando's face as he holds out his pinky finger and wraps it around mine, I bring his pinky finger up to my mouth and place a light kiss on it "Promise" Just the way my papa would do with me when I was a child. We then move off again and finally arrive at the path leading up to Lando's house, I'm ahead and Lando is a wee bit behind me. We arrive back at the stables where Lando jumps off his horse first before helping me off mine, he removes the saddles and the reins off both horses before leading them back into the stable where they have all the food and water in the world, Lando quickly runs to the stable at the end and comes out holding an apple in each hand, he gives both the horses an apple before taking my hand and leading me back into the house.
