Sofia is a hotel receptionist who wants to explore new opportunities, once she meets Lando she gets her wish but is it really worth it? The fame is new to her, will she be able to cope with the constant reporters and fans harassing her every second...
Lando decides to bring me to a cafe instead of going back to his, he parks his car and as usual runs over to my side and opens the door for me before holding his hand out for me, he stares at me as I finally get out of the car, he quickly closes the door before locking the car. He looks around the busy street before looking back at me and staring lovelily into my eyes "I know, I've already told you but you look absolutely breath taking today Sofia, you're beautiful" He grabs my hand and tightly holds it in his as he walks towards the cafe. The cafe is brightly decorated and my eyes have to adjust to the bright fluorescent lights, a waiter approaches us and welcomes us before bringing us over to our tables and setting the menus down, the waiter swiftly walks away as Lando and I begin to look over the menu, after a couple minutes of silence Lando sets his menu down and looks over "It's so bright in here" He rubs at his eyes "What are you thinking about getting?" I set my menu down "Probably the smashed avocado and sourdough along with an oat caramel iced latte" Lando scrunches up his nose "Avocado? What's that like, I've never tasted it" I smile at him "I'll let you taste it then, what are you getting?" He glances once more at the menu "I was thinking about being bad and getting french toast, don't tell anyone at McLaren" He laughs and goes to say something else before the waiter approaches us once more and takes our order "Ok, is that everything for you guys?" The waiter asks as he stares at me and I go to speak but Lando speaks up "Yip, thanks" His abrupt tone makes the waiter quickly take the menus off the table and walk away "He was staring too long at you" Lando stares long and hard at me as if he's taking in all my features, I break the eye contact as I feel myself getting flustered "Nothing wrong with someone staring at me Lando" He bites his bottom lip as he continues to stare at me "There is, as long as you're with me. I'm not going to sit across from you and let some man stare at you" His quiet serious tone makes my heart beat hard and fast as he still hasn't stopped staring at me "I don't like the thought of another man staring at you" I go to speak again but the waiter is beside us beginning to set our food and drinks down "Can I get you guys anything else?" This time the waiter is staring directly at Lando and not even making an attempt to glance over towards me "No, that's all, thanks" Lando quickly says and wastes no time digging into his food once the waiter is gone. "Here, try this" I scoop up the last remaining bit of food on my plate, making sure that the sourdough doesn't have too much avocado on it, I hold the fork out and Lando gently removes it from my hand before putting into his mouth, I watch him contently as he chews the food and swallows it "Actually nice, don't think I would ever order but it's good" He takes a sip of his water as I swish my iced latte around before taking a sip out of it "So do you want to do anything after this or just go back and chill out before we go out tonight" Damn it, I forgot about having to go out tonight, what will I wear? "I'm up for just chilling if that sounds good with you? We could watch a movie or something, what time are we meeting your friends at?" Lando daps his mouth with the napkin before gathering his stuff up "Yeah, fine with me and I think if we're there for like 10? Sound good?" I nod my head as Lando gets up off the seat and makes his way to pay, I stay seated and finish off my drink before getting up and making my way over to him. As we leave the waiter holds open the door for us as he gives me a quick smile "Have a good day guys!" He exclaims as we make our way back to Lando's car "Think he has a crush on you Sofia" Lando laughs as he opens the car door for me "Shut up Lando" He shuts the car door and I hear his laughter from outside the car as he makes his way around to his door, he quickly gets in and looks over to me "Did you not see the way he looked at you?" I scoff and shake my head as I try to hide my laughter "Too bad for him I guess, you're with me" Lando quickly races off making his way back to his parent's house.
Me and Lando are just laying on his sofa as still no one is in the house, the tv is on in the background but neither of us are paying any attention to it "Guess what?" Lando perks up and I go to speak but Lando doesn't give me the chance "Max just texted me, apparently Charles, Carlos, Yuki and Pierre will be joining us tonight, quite strange actually. Wonder why they're in London" He pulls himself up so he's properly sitting as he looks confused, it's currently 5pm so we have a while before we have to get ready "This movie is so boring Sofia, remind me to never let you pick a movie again" I roll my eyes as if he didn't spend about 20 minutes scrolling through Netflix "Well, we would still be sitting here deciding what to watch if you were picking a film so shut up" He laughs as he moves closer to me and begins to cuddle into me "You sure you don't want to stay in and just cuddle all night?" He looks up at me with puppy eyes as I laugh "You're the one that wanted to go out in the first place, and no I want to meet your friends" He cuddles into me even harder to the point where he's basically pushing me now "Mhm, yeah. Wake me up in an hour, k?" I nod my head and begin to play with his curly hair as he mumbles himself to sleep. For the next hour I just scroll on my phone and play with Lando's hair, the clock hits 6 o'clock and I lightly tap Lando and he scrambles awake. He quickly looks at me and then to the time, he yawns "Suppose we should get ready" His voice full of tiredness as he rubs at his eyes. He hops off the sofa and walks into the kitchen to get himself a drink before walking back towards me "C'mon then, go get ready. If you're anything like my mum and sister, you need hours to get ready" I laugh once more before pulling myself off the sofa and dragging myself up the stairs. I walk into the room as I hear Lando in the other room turn the shower on, I grab all the essentials before walking into the bathroom and turning the shower on. I let the shower heat up and only once the room is steamy I hop into the shower, I quickly wash my hair before shaving all the unwanted hair and then washing my body. Once I'm out of the shower I wrap my hair in a towel before applying moisturiser to my body and going back into the room,I sit down on the bed for a couple of seconds and I hear Lando wrecking in his room. I quickly do my makeup opting for a nude look for the eyeshadow and a deep red for my lips, after that I take my hair down and begin to dry it, I go for straightening it as it's less hassle and won't take as long as curling it. Once I have that all done I begin to look through my suitcase for something to wear and once my eyes land on the dress, I know it's perfect. I quickly check the time and see it reads 8:45pm, god, did it really take me that long to get ready? I slip on the dress with a pair of laced up heels. I jump up from the bed and go towards the mirror to check myself out and I'm pleased with the result, I spray myself once more with perfume before leaving the room, I begin to walk down the stairs and notice Lando sitting on the sofa looking handsome, he's wearing a dark grey buttoned shirt along with black jeans, he looks absolutely marvellous. He hasn't noticed me yet and I quietly make my way up behind him walking on the tip of the shoes so then the heels won't click "BOO" I shout as he jumps around in horror "Woah, what the fuc..." He gets off the sofa and walks around to me "Jesus christ Sofia, what are you doing to me" He stares at me in amazement before pulling me in towards him, he brings me close to his face, I quickly push him off "Woah, no way you're kissing me and ruining my lipstick and also your face will be covered in red lipstick so no, sorry" I smile as he kisses my forehead instead "God, you look so good Sofia. I might cancel and we'll just go do something instead" His cheeks are a bright red as he splutters out his words "No, don't cancel. This will be fun!" I exclaim as he continues to stare and every now and again he'll glance at me up and down "Fine, we'll leave now. Ben is outside" Lando begins to walk off before I shout for him to stop "Take some photos of me?" He smiles and throws his head back "Of course, but we need to be quick" I give him my phone before getting into a ideal spot and posing for the camera "There, now let's go" I follow him out of the door and into Ben's car where I open up instagram and click on new post.
