Sofia is a hotel receptionist who wants to explore new opportunities, once she meets Lando she gets her wish but is it really worth it? The fame is new to her, will she be able to cope with the constant reporters and fans harassing her every second...
Our Bali trip finally comes to an end as we wheel our suitcases along the wooden path as the wheels along the wood make a satisfying sound, we make our way back to the reception where Lando hands the key back to the young girl sitting at the desk "Hope you both had a fabulous time! Safe travels" She exclaims as we walk out into the fresh warm day as the taxi is sitting waiting for us, I jump into the taxi first as Lando and the taxi driver put our suitcases and bags into the boot, not long after Lando finally gets into the back along with me as the taxi driver wastes no time speeding off from the resort and making our way back to the private hangar where the private jet is waiting for us "It's a good thing we're flying from here, it's only a 2 hour flight compared to a 13 hour one" Lando rubs his hand on my thigh as I opted for a matching blue gym set along with a light white blazer with my favourite pair of nike air jordans which are also blue, I love colour coordinating my outfits, it brings me so much joy "I mean we sat on a nearly 17 hour flight to get here" I scoff as Lando draws circles on my bare thigh "Suppose that's true, it was so worth it though. I would travel for 24 hours straight if it meant I got to be with you" Lando whispers the last bit into my ear so therefore the driver can't hear, once again the stupid butterflies fill my belly as he moves away from my ear, placing my hair back in the position it was beforehand, he stops drawing the circles on my thigh and simply just rests his hand on my thigh as we sit in silence contently listening to the music from the radio as we continue towards the hangar. After 10 minutes of sitting in comfortable silence, the taxi comes to a stop "That's us" The taxi driver turns around to face us "We've arrived, I'll help with the bags" Both Lando and the taxi driver get out of the taxi whereas I sit for a few more seconds before finally getting out myself. Once I'm out, Lando already has all the suitcases out as he hands me my handbag, he hands the taxi driver a note "Thanks mate, keep the change" The taxi driver smiles before quickly getting back into the taxi and driving off as he sticks his hand out the window and gives us a brief wave, I look over to the private jet which is ready to leave as a couple of the staff begin to exit it as they start to make their way over to us as they greet us, Lando hands them the suitcases as they quickly load them onto the jet, we both walk up the steps and take our seats, sitting opposite each other, I let my body relax onto the comfortable seat whereas Lando has thrown himself onto the seat as he types away on his phone. The staff enter the plane again as one makes her way towards us and the other begins to close the door to the plane, Lando doesn't take anything that the woman is offering us but I simply take a water to quench my thirst. The plane lifts us and I find myself resting my eyes as a sudden tiredness overcomes me, I attempt the fight the tiredness but it's to no use as the quiet airplane and the rocking side to side every now and again basically puts me to sleep.
I'm stirred awake by someone lightly rubbing my shoulder and as I wake up I hear his voice "We've landed Sofia, c'mon on" He continues to gently rub my shoulder as I begin to rub at my ears as they adjust to the lights of the plane, I glance out of the window to see the bright lights of the hangar, I quickly look away as they practically blind me, Lando takes my hand and pulls me up with no warning and I nearly fall on top of him but he pulls me into his chest for a brief hug before gently pushing me forward as a hint to exit the plane so we can get to the hotel quicker, he needs his rest too. We have tomorrow free as it's only Tuesday today and he doesn't have to be to the track until Thursday, something about Zak wanting a meeting before the weekend properly starts, I honestly couldn't wait to get to the hotel, I really hope the bed is super comfortable. I basically sleepwalk towards the taxi waiting for us as Lando grabs the suitcases from the female who had already gotten them out for us "Thanks Lando, good luck this weekend" I hear her say to him and then I overhear him thank her before I hear the boot of the taxi open and multiple things being thrown into it before he jumps in beside me where I sit with my eyes still closed, praying that the taxi trip to the hotel isn't too long as I just want a quick shower and then to hop into bed, it was such a short flight but I just feel so exhausted, like it honestly just took so much out of me. Lando scoots over closer towards me and I place my head on his shoulder as he snuggles into me, it's around 9pm I'm pretty sure so as we drive I look out the window as the bright lights of all the building illuminate the sky and I'm amazed at the view that I'm currently witnessing as we drive along, it's honestly so fucking gorgeous. The journey to the hotel was longer than expected but once we arrive, it's so worth it. I step out of the taxi and look up to the hotel that looks like it's never ending, it's possibly the biggest hotel I've ever seen, once again I stand and do nothing as Lando retrieves the suitcases and bags from the boot before he walks to the driver window and gives the taxi man some money before the driver zooms off and leaves me and Lando standing outside this glamorous hotel. We step inside and the interior is a nude with hint of white and the place just feels expensive, Lando walks up to the male at the desk and begins to check us in as I look around at the decorations situated on the walls, it's a stunning hotel, really well designed I must say, I'm too busy looking at an art piece so I don't hear Lando shouting my name to tell me that we can go up to our room, it's only when he comes and stands next to me that I realise "You coming or you just gonna stand here all night?" He sarcastically comments as I laugh and rub at my eyes as the tiredness is in full effect currently "Hope it's ok but Charlotte only booked us the one room, if you want your own room, now would be the perfect time to say" I glance up at him as he towers over my petite body "Mhm" I begin to yawn as I scratch my head "I'm fine with the one room, I just need a bed like right now" Lando laughs as he wheels all the suitcases towards the elevator as I walk behind him, only carrying my handbag. We step into the elevator and Lando presses the button for the 20th floor "Do you pay for these hotels or like what happens with you travelling and staying in so many hotels?" I curiously ask him as Lando himself begins to yawn now "No, the team pays for them, I mean in Italy with the extra couple days I stayed, obviously I paid for them since I wasn't there for the race so yeah this is a free stay for the both of us" He laughs as the elevator chimes to let us know we've reached our floor, we step out on to the grey carpet floor as Lando leads the way to the hotel room, we finally reach the door and Lando pushes the keycard into the door before it beeps, Lando pushes the door knob down before kicking it open as he struggles to get all the suitcases in, I kick them with my feet in an attempt to help it and it seems to work since we're now standing in the dimmed room with all the suitcases, Lando turns the lights on and walks into the toilet as I look around the room and the bed looks so fluffy and comfortable and as much as I want to facepalm onto the pillow, the view catches my eye and I'm pulled towards the window as I stand and just stare at the breath taking view.
