Sofia is a hotel receptionist who wants to explore new opportunities, once she meets Lando she gets her wish but is it really worth it? The fame is new to her, will she be able to cope with the constant reporters and fans harassing her every second...
The next couple days fly in, I'm currently sitting at the desk for hopefully the last time, I have 20 minutes until my shift is over. Lando and me have just been texting back and forward, he done really well in the grand prix with him coming 2nd and Daniel coming 1st, I watched the highlights of it on youtube. They went out partying that night but Lando left early to come talk to me in the hotel as he said he wasn't really a fan of drinking or partying, whilst all the other drivers had left to go get their rest since they don't have a race for another 2 weeks Lando decided to stay at the hotel until I was leaving for London, he decided he was going to go see his family for a couple days and since I was going to London as well, he thought it made sense for us to both fly at the same time. Lando comes walking around from the elevator "Hi Sofia, just checking out" He has all his bags packed and he's wearing an all black outfit with a backwards hat "You only have 20 minutes left?" I nod my head as he passes me the card for the hotel room and I check him out of the hotel "I'll just wait for you here then, have you everything packed?" I burrow my eyebrows together at the fact he said packed, I wouldn't really call it packed. I mean, I have everything I need to bring with me in the suitcases but I would say it's been thrown in, I had to fight with the suitcases to get them closed "Yeah, I'm all ready to leave once when I'm done" The reality only really kicked in with me this morning when I got up for work, that I would be leaving my hometown once again but maybe for good this time, I don't know if I would be back. I probably will be back, I'm just being dramatic I think to myself "You don't have a drink back there Sofia?" Me and Lando have gotten closer the past couple days, it's hard to explain but it feels like I've known him all my life, I don't think I've ever felt this comfortable around someone in my life "Yeah, I do. It's apple juice, is that ok?" Lando reaches over the counter and takes it out of my hand "I'm dying of thirst" He gulps the remaining juice left in the glass before setting it down again "Right, I'm just going to sit over here then until you're done" He points to the sofa before wheeling his suitcase and sitting down, he takes out his phone and begins to mess around on it. Just before my shift ends, I see Giuseppe at the side of my eye walking out of his office, he walks towards me with his hands behind his back before smiling "So this is it Sofia, you're leaving us" I glance towards Lando to see him staring over "Just wanted to thank you once more for all your hard work these 2 years, it really means a lot to me and I hope you know that. I wish you the best of luck with your future and I hope you achieve everything you wish for in life and with that, this is from everyone here at Hotel de la Ville, we will never get another like you Miss Sofia de Rossi" He grins widely as he sets down a gorgeous bouquet of flower in front of me, I could almost cry at the sight of them "And that is your shift done Sofia, it's been an absolute pleasure having you work for us" I quickly log out of the system and grab all my stuff before walking around to Giuseppe and giving him a brief hug "Grazie Giuseppe" (Thanks Giuseppe) Once I've properly said my goodbye to everyone in the lobby I walk towards Lando "You should speak Italian more often, it's sexy" He smirks as he hops up off the sofa "Will you take a photo of me outside" He looks towards me as he we exit the lobby for the last time "Yeah, sure. Give me your handbag and coat so I can put it into the car" I hand him all my items except the flowers as he jogs over to the car and quickly throws the stuff into the boot before running back to me, I hand him my phone and walk to a cute spot outside the hotel "Am I going to become your personal photographer now" Lando jokes around as I pose for the camera "I'll see how these photos come out and I'll get back to you on that one" I smirk as Lando bosses me around to do different poses as I hear the continuous clicks to indicate photos are being taken "There! Bam! That one was perfect, post it now!" He shouts and I laugh loudly as people look over, we walk over to the car and I hop in a lot smoothly than the last couple times, I am really getting use to this. I go onto the instagram and begin to make a new post as I flick through the photos Lando took and he wasn't wrong, the last one was stunning so I post it.

I look over to Lando who is just settling himself into this seat "You ready to go Sofia?" Our flight wasn't for another 4 hours but Lando said he wanted to be safe this time and not miss the flight, he told me the story of how he missed a flight once and was stranded in the airport by himself until the next flight which was only 2 hours after it, he's so dramatic. We finally arrive at my apartment and we both run up the stairs to get to my door, clearly Lando wins but he cheated, he pushed me so really I won. I quickly unlock the door and walk into my now quite empty apartment, all that's left is the furniture, some bits and bobs that I don't need and just some small things that I had no use to bring with me. Lando looks at the 2 suitcases sitting at the front door "2 suitcases? You really need to bring that much stuff?" He laughs as he picks one of them up "It's my first time properly travelling, I don't know what I'll need" He scans my face "You could just buy one big massive suitcase?" With his free hand he hits his head as if to say duh before picking up the other suitcase "Is that everything?"I look towards him before walking around my apartment just making sure I'm not forgetting anything important and double checking I have everything turned off "Yeah, think that's it. Just let me get changed quickly" I hear Lando drop the suitcases and sit down on the sofa as I walk into my room and see the outfit that I set out this morning, I went for the comfy route. I check myself out in the mirror to see if the outfit looks as good as what I thought it would in my head, I opt for a black pair of sweats, a black crop top and then last minute I decide to throw a hat on since my hair is somewhat messy. I walk out of my room and open my suitcase to stuff my dirty work clothes into, I understand it's work clothes but I spent money on that outfit and it's still super cute so I'm hardly going to throw it out, Lando laughs as he sees the state of my suitcase "Has no one shown you how to pack a suitcase before, oh my god Sofia! That's horrendous" He laughs loudly "Yeah yeah shut up unless you're going to help me with it" He quickly bends down and has the suitcase zipped up in seconds "Guess I'm going to have to show you how to do it properly, let's go. We'll stop somewhere for food before we go to the airport" Once again Lando picks up my suitcases and walks out the door, I follow him and turn around to lock the door before having one more glance inside and mentally saying goodbye to my apartment, I lock the door and then start to cheerfully walk down the stairs as Lando struggles holding the suitcases.
