In his unscrupulous rampage, The Mercenary gave no quarter and showed no mercy towards the poor, innocent villagers. Their blood had stained his blades and being, the scent filling his nostrils and fueling him further. There wasn't a hint of humanity left within the demonic mutant. All seemed to have been lost the moment he, unfortunately, descended into Maddened Savagery and fell under the sway of the Eden.

Suddenly, something most unexpected happened when a young boy, no older than eleven or twelve, crossed paths with The DOOM Slayer. He glared down at the kid for several long moments, taking in his appearance to the smallest detail. His spiky black hair and brown eyes, his tanned skin and what seemed to be a tail wrapped around his waist... The most curious detail and the one that made The Second Hellwalker's head tilt to the side was the green-furred ear of some massive beast wrapped like a belt and the champion blue wristbands along with the fact that his ears weren't pointed. He was not a Hylian, the scent and look made that more than clear, on top of that, there was tremendous, endless power housed within him, an endless potential just waiting to be harnessed. There was something... familiar... wasn't there...?

The kid was frozen on the spot as he looked up at the mountain of a demonic mutant before him, gritting his slightly pronounced predatory canines yet noticing that... Dynamo was not going to attack. Was he letting him go? Was there some of his real self in there?

Slowly and carefully, the child stepped around, making sure to keep an eye on him, fearless enough to look right up at The DOOM Slayer throughout the whole time. The child broke into a run, still feeling the burning crimson glare on his back and he cast one last look over his shoulder, eyes narrowed as their gazes met again. This wasn't right... that man wasn't bad... he knew it in his very core... Something was terribly wrong with him and he needed help desperately. There were only two people that he could think of to help the Maddened Mercenary and he escaped the blazing settlement as fast as possible in search of them.

Dynamo watched him go with the same impassive rage, only letting out a pained grunt upon moving on in the restless pursuit of his quarry.
