The current Era was not the kindest for the Kingdom of Hyrule, her Kingdom, her home. She was its princess and ruling monarch since her father had taken ill. The Princess of Intuition suspected that nefarious individuals had something to do with the matter. Namely the infamous Butcher of Realms, as the Gerudo King was merely a victim of his circumstances and the ancient curse placed upon them.
It was all too convenient. Her father, who had kept the Kingdom united and strong, had suddenly fallen sick, forcing her to take over so that other pretenders, Lords and chancellors, would not usurp his rule. On top of that, The Mercenary, a very close ally and comrade, to the point of being family, had gone missing, only to re-emerge when the dark forces struck. Word of the massacre they had perpetrated had quickly reached her pointed ears. She knew what Ganondorf was after and she knew the message that Makarov had wanted to deliver with it. It was why she had solicited The Half-blood Zonai Hero to respond to the crisis as soon as possible.
Thankfully he did and he emerged from it unharmed. She hated putting him in such danger, she despised more the fact that Dynamo had been pitted against them.
The Princess Regent had visited the mutant hybrid after getting word from her Appointed Knight that he'd managed to contain the stricken Bearer of The DOOM Slayer. He had been brought to some sort of sense and Link had taken him to his own house in order to allow him to recover. Her heart had ached at the sight, as, even unconscious, the aura of his demonic power had not gone away. With her delicate fingers, she'd brushed away some of the stray short strands of hair from his forehead, smiling softly yet bittersweet upon seeing that his contorted expression had relaxed ever so slightly at her touch.
Part of The Wild Princess had wanted to remain by his side and make sure that no one would dare harm or take advantage of him in such a matter again... but, unfortunately, she couldn't avoid her duty and responsibility. A heavy sigh had left her pale pink lips as she had placed a silent princess flower on the nightstand next to the bed. After one last glance, she'd thrown on her Hylian Hood and departed, summoning her Master Cycle to urgently head over to Kakariko Village.
Zelda was in the middle of debating and planning the whole matter with Impa, her close confidant and Royal Advisor. That was when both of them were alerted to what was occurring just outside the door to where they sat on tatami mats, right in the middle of the village.
"It seems that The Mercenary came to us after all." Impa said, having brought up the hypothesis that he might get in contact with her or at least attempt to.
Zelda nodded slowly before her eyes narrowed and her pointy ears twitched. "That does not sound right..." She whispered more to herself, that ache within tugging at her. "I must do something...!" Without further delay, she took quick steps towards the exit when she was suddenly stopped by a stern hand grabbing her wrist.
"Princess! That is not the Dynamo we know out there!" She warned direly.
"I cannot stand idle to his suffering! Can't you hear it, Impa!?" She wrenched herself free and stormed out, ignoring any other calls.
The sight that she was met with left her with her mouth agape as she slowly let her hood fall. There he was, The Final Knight nigh in Maddened Savagery, the people around horrified by him, worse, inadvertently furthering his descent with their actions, running, fleeing away. What she felt within him wasn't right, not in the slightest, the divine and demonic energies that were normally equalized had been thrown off yet again since she'd visited him.
"Georgian..." She whispered breathlessly, the blood of Hylia beginning to boil in her veins with righteous anger. "By the Goddesses... what have they done to you...?"
