"It is definitely something that I can see myself doing," I nod, speaking through the crackling line to my agent,

"Well, I can give him a ring and organize a reading or have you organized that without me again?" She asks humorously,

"No, I haven't so you can. But he seemed pretty adamant for me to be playing the part of Abigail,"

"Well, I'll call him and let him know you would like to, and we should meet somewhere now you are effectively living in L.A,"

"I'm kind of living here. Not really,"

"Face it Zoe, you're living there with him,"

"You and Kristen! Jeeze, give me a break,"

"There's nothing wrong with that Zoe, you're grown up now,"

"Hmm, that was a very motherly thing to say Mags," I chuckle as Taylor enters our room,

"Well, you're like a daughter to me,"

"Thanks mom," I chuckle, "Well, I have to go now, Taylor has dinner ready," I smile at my white lie.

"Well, I won't keep you starving," She chuckles, "I'll organize a reading and let you know. Bye zoe,"

"Bye Mags," I smile, throwing my phone down on to the bed, "That was my agent, she's organizing a script reading with David,"

"That's exciting,"

"Well, it's a step closer,"

I wonder if David will let Taylor be on set like he let me? Or when filming will be? What if it's around the time of the premiere and then I won't be able to go to that and he won't be able to come to set and who knows what the paparazzi will think of our 'separation'.

"Well, I have no doubt you'll be great,"

"Thanks,"

"Why did you say that I had dinner ready?"

"Because that was the only polite way to say I wanted to hang up," I chuckle while he smiles staring into my eyes,

"Well, that wasn't entirely wrong..." He extends his hand, and I take it to pull myself off the bed. Something gets wrapped around my head, covering my eyes and turning everything black,

"Taylor, where are we going?"

"The lounge room," He says, stifling a laugh,

"Why?"

"Wait a few seconds,"

"These are the longest seconds of my life,"

"Not for long,"

"You haven't had any time to do anything though, you just got home,"

Home. I've never really called his apartment home before. Mags was right, I have effectively moved in with him, "That's what you think,"

"What?"

"You don't realize how long you were talking on the phone,"

"It surely wasn't longer than an hour-"

"And this didn't take longer than an hour," He says and I can imagine he's smiling.

His hand on the small of my back, stops pushing me forward and the knot tying the fabric together loosens, the material slipping from my eyes to reveal the T.V lit up on the Unbroken title screen, a few candles lit up around the place, a quilt from the spare room on the couch with pillows beside it and two steaming plates of food on the bench,

"Happy late birthday! And no, I didn't forget, I've been trying to think of something that was worth celebrating your birthday," He smiles sheepishly, realizing something else, "And it's not just for your birthday..."

1 year anniversary.

Crap.

Time flew so quickly that I didn't even realize.

World's worst girlfriend ever.

"Taylor..." I try to put a sentence together but the only thing that I'm capable of doing, is standing there, looking around the room, "Well, for my birthday, I told you not to make a fuss," I chuckle in disbelief, "But I'm so sorry," I mutter, on the verge of crying as I press my face into his shirt and his arms encircle my body as I carefully slip my arms around him.

"Yeah, but you deserve something special," He murmurs, kissing the top of my head, "And I don't mind Zoe, it has gone so quickly, I nearly forgot,"

"But I feel so bad! I'm possibly the world's worst girlfriend ever," I mutter, about to change the subject, "I'm guessing we're watching Unbroken?" I ask, hoping to hear him deny it,

"Yes, and you're going to watch every part of it, here with me,"

"But why do we have to watch Unbroken? Why not another movie? A chick flick or something,"

"Because there is no other movie with you starring in it,"

"Do we need to watch me?"

"Of course we do,"

"Why are you so amazing?" I mutter, getting annoyed and walking over to the couch,

"So I remembered one day of the year-"

"The most important day of a relationship!"

He hushes me and sits next to me, kissing me softly, "It's seriously fine,"

I don't reply in words, I just curl up to his side and sigh as he presses play.
