Idiot - Chapter 19

"Guys I'm home," Taylor yells, walking into the front door, "Zoe's here too," He adds and the sound of footsteps come from down the hall,

"Zoe!" Makena exclaims, "How are you?"

"I'm great, it's so nice to finally meet you,"

"Gee, just ignore me," Taylor says as she chuckles and gives in to a hug,

"So are you staying here?"

"I sure am,"

"Where though? The spar-"

"Where do you think Makena?" Taylor says rolling his head,

"I don't want to know, I honestly don't know why you would go out with him," She shrugs, "He's an idiot,"

"You have to say that though, I said that to my brothers girlfriend. He's only an idiot to you," I say and everyone starts laughing, "Laugh all you want but it's true,"

"Come on, you can bring your bags to my room,"

"Sure," I say walking through his house. It's a nice house, isn't too big, but it's comfortable to live in. We arrive to his room and to my surprise it isn't that messy, "Your room isn't actually like I thought it would be,"

"Good or bad?"

"Good," I chuckle,

"Zoe!" Makena yells out from the entrance,

"Yeah?"

"Do you want something to eat?" She asks, swinging around the door frame, "What about you?" She asks nodding towards Taylor,

"I"m fine," I shrug,

"I'll get something," He says, grabbing my hand and walking through the door

"I guess I'll come with you then," I say, squeezing his hand slightly. I wait patiently sitting next to him and it seems like I'm waiting forever, "So when is the premiere?"

"30th of June," He says, swallowing his last bite of food down at the same time, "Are you going to come with me?"

"Like on the red carpet?"

"Black carpet," He corrects me and we both chuckle, "And yes,"

"Really?"

"No, I don't want my girlfriend to come with me,"

"Oh. What?"

"I'm joking Zoe,"

"Right, I knew that," I chuckle nervously, "But you really want me to come? People are just going to attack you with questions you realize, and it's you they come to see, not your girlfriend,"

"It's up to you. I want you to come, but if you're to chicken then you don't have to," He smirks,

"Chicken? Count me in then. No-one calls Zoe Echo a chicken," I say shaking my head which makes him laugh. "When does the tour start?"

"I'm going to Australia first, on the 29th of May,"

"Damn,"

"What's the matter?"

"You're going to be gone for like 6 weeks," I say, pouting sarcastically, "And I'm not coming with you,"

"I know, I"m sorry,"

"Don't be, who's going with you?"

"Kristen,"

"Well, there you go, you won't be alone,"

"I guess,"

"Where's Rob going to be?"

"Filming for Water for Elephants,"

"Right,"

"This is random, but what happened to you being in David Slade's new movie?"

"I don't know, he never had time to talk about it, which is understandable, but I don't know," I say shrugging,

"It would be a waste of time if you didn't do anything about it though,"

"No it wouldn't," I say shaking my head, which makes him look slightly confused,

"How would it not be a waste of time?"

"Really? You can't think of anything?"

It takes him a minute but then he realizes and kisses me softly, "Exactly," I say laughing, "It wasn't a waste of time at all,"
