"A 3 day break?"
"That's what Bill said. So are you spending Christmas with me?"
"Is that alright with your mom and dad?"
"My mom loves you," He chuckles, ducking into the car, "So there is no problem with it,"
"Are you sure?"
"Do you want me to call them? And Makena will definitely love having you there,"
"Just let them know I'm coming,"
"Will do,"

"Zoe!" His mother exclaims, hugging me tightly as soon as we enter the door, "How have you been?"
"Good thanks! Hey Makena," I smile, hugging her tightly.
"So you're staying for Christmas Day?"
"Is that alrigh-"
"OH IT'S FINE!" She exclaims, a huge smile on her face, "As long as your happy with meeting the rest of our family," She smiles, as Taylor stifles a laugh,
"Good luck with that," He chuckles, taking his bag as well as mine straight to his room,
"Thanks," I mutter sarcastically, taking a seat on the couch and watching TV, waiting for Taylor to return.

"Merry Christmas," He mumbles sleepily, kissing me on the cheek and hugging me from behind.
"Did your mum wake you up with all of the noise in the kitchen too?"
"Yep,"
A small chuckle bounces from my chest as I lace my fingers over the top of his, shutting my eyes once again, only to be interrupted by Makena storming through the door, "Guys get up! Mum says I'm not allowed to open presents until you're both up,"
"Can you wait a little bit longer?" He whines, tightening his arm around me,
"Oh come on Taylor," I chuckle, opening my eyes and trying to squirm out of his iron-like grip, "Don't make her wait any longer than she has to,"
He lets go of me and rolls off his side of the bed, pulling a jumper over his head, walking towards the door,
"Good morning! Thought you two were never going to get up," His mother laughs, the same grin on her face as always,
"Sorry," He smiles, "We wouldn't be up if 'Kena hadn't have stomped in,"
"It's Christmas Day! Let her be excited,"
Deborah walks in front of us to the lounge room, trying to get Makena to wait a moment to open her presents.
We both lazily stroll into the lounge room and sit on the couch, watching Makena complain about waiting, "Go! We're here now," He chuckles as she starts opening her gifts,
"Taylor, one for you," Deb smiles, handing him a gift wrapped in cheesy Christmas paper, "Makena, take it easy,"
"Zoe," Taylor's dad, Daniel says, "Here's one for you,"
"Me?"
"Of course," He smiles, handing me a box wrapped in bright red paper, "It's from Taylor,"
I look to my left and spot Taylor, his cheeks blushing slightly.
"Thank you," I smile, kissing his cheek and pulling the tape off, revealing a box that a necklace would come in.
I pry the box open slowly, to expose a beautiful gold chain with a breathtaking gold heart charm, no bigger than your fingernail, "Oh Taylor..." I smile, taking it out of the box and fastening it around my neck, "Thank you,"
"Do you like it?"
"I love it," I smile, playing with the charm in my fingers, "I can't believe you got this for me,"
"I think, I started looking about a month ago," He chuckles, fixing it so it's sitting perfectly straight, "It had to be perfect to match you,"
"Zoe!" Makena exclaims, showing me a silver bracelet with a heart locket on it which was clasping the two ends together, "Taylor got me this as well,"
She jumps up and throws her arms around his neck, "Thank you!"
"No problem," He smiles, flashing his pearly white teeth.
"This one is from Daniel and I," Deb smiles, handing me another box, no bigger then the last,
"Guys," I mutter, taking the box from her hands, "Thank you,"
I pull the paper off to reveal a photo frame box,
"You have to open it,"
I rip open the box and pull the heart shaped frame out, showing a photo of Taylor and I at the premiere. My favorite photo of us, "This is perfect. Thanks so much,"
"Anything for our second daughter,"
