Family - Chapter 2

Chapter 2

"Have fun!" Stacey squeals in my ear.

"I don't think there is a chance I won't," I say opening my car door and throwing my bag in.

"Be careful Zoe," Mom says.

"I'm 18 mom, I'll be fine," I say and she is smiling so proudly at me. I walk around to the drivers side and open the door. "Bye guys," I say ducking my head and stepping into the car. I put it into reverse and back out the driveway.

I look out the windscreen and wave at my mom and sister.

I takes about 4 hours to get there, but I wouldn't care if it took 10 hours. I'm going to meet the Eclipse director about me being in a movie. I couldn't be more excited. I look down to the cup holder, which is holding my phone, my vibrating phone. Unknown number? Who's that.

"Hello Zoe speaking," I say,

"Hey Zoe!" A guy speaks

"Hey, um, who is this?" I say and chuckle.

"It's Kiowa Gordon and Alex Meraz," They voice says and I hear someone scream hello in the backround.

"Embry and Paul right?" I say chuckling.

"Yep, spot on there girly," He says and I chuckle.

"Why did you call me?" I ask and they both chuckle,

"David wanted to check on you, make sure you're finding the place alright, but he is shooting a scene with Kristen and Taylor, so he sent us to do it," He says. "Bad idea," I hear in the backround.

"Right, tell him, I'm almost there, like literally 10 minutes away," I say checking the GPS, making sure I"m not lying.

"Righto, cool, the whole cast is here today, well most of us, actually no-where near all of us, but enough of us so we will meet you at the parking lot, and take you around to meet everyone," He says, sounding really excited about me coming to the set.

"Cool, thanks guys. I'll see you soon," I say and hang up.

I get to the gate, and a man wearing a black security uniform. He motions for me to roll down the window,

"Mr Slade sent you?" He asks.

"Yes he did," I say.

"Alright you must be Zoe, take a left as soon as you make it through the gate. There is a huge parking lot just down the road, park anywhere you like that isnt reserved," He says, stepping back.

I drive through the gate slowly, taking it all in. I turn left and spot the parking lot. I find an empty car space and park my car.

"ZOE!" I hear Kiowa's voice from across the lot as I'm getting out of the car,

"Hey!" I say as he walks over to me.

"Hi! How are you?" He asks.

"I'm great," I say nodding.

"That's good. Alex just got called to shoot something at the moment, so that's why he isn't here," He says motioning for me to walk with him.

"Do you want to see David first? Or for me to take you on a tour?" He asks smiling.

"Depends, David said he was busy, so I don't know," I say, completely overwhelmed by this.

"We can go say hi to him and then go on a tour," He says and I nod smiling, "I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but how did David get to know you?"

"Saw me in a shool play I did last year, it was for my final year, you know exams and everything," I say,

"Cool. What are you going to do here?" He asks.

"Might be an extra, but apperently he is doing another movie, after Eclipse, or something, and he wants to meet with me about that," I say,

"That's cool. Oh, there's Rob," He says and I look towards he points.

"Rob!" He yells out and I'm a bit taking back by how, casual they are. Don't freak out, act normal. You can act, don't make them think your just another stupid fan.

"Hey Kiowa, and I'm assuming you are Zoe," He says and I'm taking back a bit, how does he know me! He extends his hand and I shake it.

"Nice to meet you Zoe," He says. He's so nice.

"Nice to meet you too! How do you know who I am?" I ask and they both laugh,

"David showed pretty much the whole cast Unbroken," He says and it feels like my stomach drops.

"You've seen Unbroken? I'm so bad in that! that's so embarrasing," I say stepping back and curling over laughing, "Oh my god, that's so embarrasing," I say, putting my head in my hands.

"It's awesome! Don't be like that," He says ruffling my hair.

"Thanks," I say.

"Let's go meet the rest of them," Kiowa says directing me towards the trailers.

"Kristen?" Rob says knocking on her trailer door, "Kristen someone is here to meet you, it's not a fan, don't worry," He says and I hear a laugh from inside the trailer.

"I never worry! But I'm coming, wait a second," She says. She opens the door and looks at me,

"Hey," She says.

"Hey," I say. "i'm Zoe," I say and extend my hand. She nods and shakes my hand.

"I'm Kristen," She says.

I don't wont to say I know, she must get that all the time, so I just nod.

"She is here to see David about his, maybe, new movie," Rob says and she smiles at him.

"Cool," She says. "I'd love to come and meet the rest of the cast with you, but my make-up person is in here getting me ready for a shoot later. I'm kind of in between scenes right now," She syas pointing with her thumb in the door.

"Nah that's cool, don't worry about it. Kind of expected to be walking around on my own for a bit, so just having these two here is good enough," I say and we both laugh.

"I'll see you around," she says walking back into her trailer.

"Let's go meet the rest of the family," Rob says. The rest of the family! That's so cute! i've been her for about 30 mins, and I never want it to end.
