Chapter 5: I Might Have A Broken Leg, But I Still Have Two Working Legs ;)

Y/N POV

I wake up after a long sleep. I'm In a room, with blinding white lights, and constant beeping. When my eyes adjust to the light, I see that I'm in a hospital room. Something feels weird about my leg and I look down to see it in a cast. To my left, Marie is asleep in a chair. She looks kinda cute- wait, what am I saying? Anyways, I see my phone on the bedside table, and it starts to ring. I see that Marina is calling me, so I pick up.

Y/N- " Hello?"

Marina- " Where are you!? We've been worried sick!"

Y/N- " Oh sorry, I broke my leg, so I'm in the hospital, no big deal"

Marina- " NO BIG DEAL!? You broke your leg!"

Y/N- " Marina, it's fine. They'll probably let me out soon"

Pearl- " *In the background* Yo Reena, what's wrong?"

Marina- " Y/N's in the hospital!"

Pearl- " What!? For eel!?"

Marina- " Yeah! He broke his leg!"

Pearl- " How!?"

Uh Oh. Gotta come up with something, fast!

Y/N- " Salmon Run, A Cohock got me."

Pearl- " Youch!"

A doctor then walks into the room.

Y/N- " Talk to ya later, doctors here."

Marina- " Ok, but stay safe"

Y/N- " I will"

I hang up the phone and face the doctor.

Doctor- " How are you doing Mr. L/N?"

Y/N- " Fine enough I guess"

Doctor- " Can you still feel your leg?"

Y/N- " Yeah, and it hurts like a bitch"

Doctor- " *chuckles* Alright, you need to stay off that leg for about 1 or 2 weeks."

Y/N- " you got it, doc"

Doctor- " Good, other than that, your free to go. Here's some medicine for the pain."

The doctor hands me a bottle of pills.

Doctor- " Take one when you wake up, and one at noon every day"

Y/N- " Got it"

Doctor- " Oh, and do you have someone to pick you up?"

Y/N- " Yeah, my friend can"

Doctor- " Alright, you have a good day"

Y/N- " You too"

The doctor exits the room, and I lean over to shake Marie awake. When she wakes up, she yawns and rubs her eyes, before looking at me, and immediately hugging me.

Marie- " Thank Cod you're ok, How's your leg?"

Y/N- " Broken, gotta stay off it for 1 to 2 weeks."

Marie- " Oh No!"

Y/N- " It's fine, you go home now and get some sleep."

Marie- "But-"

Y/N- " No buts, go to bed."

Marie- " Who will take you home, then"

Y/N- " Don't worry, I got a friend who will help me."

Marie- " Ok... but be careful, ok?"
