Chapter 15: Under The Sea

I hope you all had a good Christmas. I know I did. Hopefully, 2023 will be better than last year. This chapter will be the first chapter of the Octo Expansion. It won't be very long, but it will introduce some new characters and develop Callie & Y/N's relationship. Enjoy the chapter.

Y/N POV

Ah, the sweet, summer breeze. It's so fucking hot out here. I was outside, in the pool. Pearl was asleep on a floatie and Marina was underwater, just... laying there.

Y/N- "Damn. I feel like calamari right now"

Pearl- *snore*

Marina- *bubbling sounds*

Y/N- "Oh yeah..."

Marina's phone then goes off.

Y/N- "Marina, phone."

Marina then floats to the top of the water and swims to the side of the pool. She checks her phone, then her eyes go wide. She then swims over to Pearl and wakes her up.

Pearl- "Huh, what?"

Marina- "Pearl! We have a problem with..."

She then lowers her voice and whispers into her ear. I can't hear her, but Pearl looks worried and gets off of the floatie.

Marina- "Sorry, Y/N, we need to go do something."

Y/N- "K."

They exit the pool and I float for a while, before I get out of the pool, and go to the bar.

Y/N- "Hmm... what should I make?"

I decide on a Toasted Almond, which is made of amaretto, coffee liqueur, & cream. I sit in a pool chair and enjoy my drink. I wonder why they had to leave? I finish my drink, and head inside. I should probably head up to my room to take a shower and un-pool myself. So I do just that. After my shower, I put on my fit, and go downstairs. I hear voices coming from the recording room. I hear Pearl and Marina, but I also hear someone else. I want to listen in, but that would be wrong, and they would be pissed at me, so I don't. My phone buzzes and I check to see who it is. I see a text from Marie, and it says:

Marie- "Hey, can you come to Octovalley?"

Y/N- "Sure, why?"

Marie- "I think it's about time you meet Callie."

Y/N- "Sure, I'll be there soon."

I put my phone away, and head outside. I see Jim, ready to go. I hope in the passenger seat.

Jim- "Hey there Y/N, Where to?"

Y/N- "Octovalley."

Jim- "Got it!"

Jim starts the car and heads off for Octovalley.

Jim- "Sure is hot out."

Y/N- "It sure is."

We soon arrive at the sewer grate entrance, and I step out of the car.

Y/N- "Bye Jim!"

Jim- "Bye Y/N!"

I Like Jim. I walk toward the grate and wait outside of it. When no one is looking, I swim into the grate. I eventually pop out of the grate, and I see Marie talking to Callie. I walk over and greet them.

Y/N- "Hey guys!"

Marie then looks over to me and smiles.

Marie- "Hey Y/N!"

Callie- "hey..."

Y/N- "How are you guys doing?"

Marie- "Good, how about you?"
