Shinji held his bag close to his chest as he walked into the classroom, he looked around to see all the other kids laughing and talking. He ran to the corner of the classroom and hid holding the red feather close to his face.
"What's that weird kid doing in the corner?" A kid in the back jeered at him. The other kids around him laughed as they approached him.
Shinji backed into the corner and put his backpack up to hide his face, "go away." He whispered.
The kid grabbed the bag from Shinji's hands, "is that a Hawks bag?" He sneered, "he's not even a cool hero. Not like Dynamight or Deku."
"Give it back," Shinji cried, grabbing for the bag.
"Only if you beg," the boy held the bag above his head. Shinji tried to fly to reach it but instead fell landing on his face, "what a loser."
"Stop it," a boy with curly blond hair stood on the desk, "you think Deku and Dynamight are cool but they would never bully someone. You're just a meanie. Leave him alone."
A boy with half black and half red hair pulled him down off the desk, "shhh. Haru, they're gonna bully us next. I'm too little to fight them."
"We're not to little too fight these meanie extras, Hitori," the boy named Haru said.
"Haru please," Hitori said, "just let it go."
"You're all a bunch of losers," the bully threw Shinji's bag onto the ground making sure to step on it as he walked away.
Shinji quickly grabbed the bag and held it close to his chest again, trying to wipe the footprint off of it. He wiped the tears that were pouring from his eyes.
"Good morning class," the teacher said, "lets all find our seats." The kids all ran to find a seat, except for Shinji who didn't move from the corner.
"I wanna go home," Shinji cried.
"Oh come here sweetie," the teacher said, "I know it can be hard coming to school for the first time, but let's find you a seat and soon you'll feel right at home."
She helped Shinji find a seat that was right next to the boy with the black and red hair named Hitori. "Now class, I'm going to call roll, so when you hear your name, just say here." She went through the names all the kids saying here.
"Bakugo-Midoriya," she called, when the young boy with curly blond hair raised his hand.
"You can just call me Haru," he said with a huge grin, "everyone calls me Haru."
"Ok then Haru," she continued calling off names, "Takami."
The class was quiet and no one raised their hand, Shinji looked around nervously. Uncomfortable with the silence.
"Takami?" She called again, looking around at the kids who hadn't spoken up yet. "That's ok, I'm sure not everyone is familiar with their names yet. I'm sure we'll figure out who you are. Everyone seems to be here. So next we have, let's see. Todoroki."
"Here," Shinji and Hitori said at the same time raising their hands.
"Hey!" Hitori whined, "that's my name. You can't steal my name."
"No," Shinji muttered, "its my name. My name is To-do-ro-ki. My daddy told me."
"Well then your daddy is stupid," Hitori glared at Shinji, "because Todoroki is MY name. And you can't have it."
"My daddy isn't stupid," Shinji shouted, "my Daddies are the smartest Daddies in the whole world. You're stupid."
"I'm not stupid," Hitori whined looking down at his hands, "you're just a meanie. And you can't steal my name."
