Dabi pulled the boxes close to his chest, trying to rebalance them, as Shinji's wings wacked into his legs almost knocking him over. He let out a sigh of relief as the boxes stopped swaying. A moment later, he tripped over the blond boy that had been chasing after Shinji, tumbling to the ground, the boxes in his hands breaking open and spilling their contents all over the floor.

Haru looked down at Dabi, his eyes wide. He bit his top lip with his bottom teeth, before running off to hide. Dabi groaned as he stared up at the ceiling, contemplating staying on the floor forever and just giving up on actually finishing moving anything.

Ever since they had gotten to the new house, Shinji had done nothing but run around. Of course, Dabi cursed himself for having told Shinji that he could invite his friends over. Between Shinji, Haru, and Hitori, they had managed to knock over at least a dozen boxes that had already been brought in, tripped Dabi at least twice, and Dabi was fairly sure that somewhere Shinji had already begun drawing on the walls.

Oddly enough, not a single other person had been bothered by the boys at all. Not once had they tripped them or knocked over any of their boxes. If Dabi didn't know better, he would think that the boys were targeting him.

Chuckling Hawks, sat down on the floor next to Dabi, looking up at the ceiling with him. "You find anything interesting up there? You've been staring at the ceiling a lot today."

"You're not funny," Dabi groaned, pushing himself up to sit next to Hawks. "What is this? Some sort of early onset teenage rebellion? Does he resent me because we're having another baby? Or maybe it's because we're making him move?"

"Baby, he's just playing. He's excited, and you," Hawks patted the side of Dabi's chest, "aren't very good at watching where you're going."

"Are we all sitting on the floor now?" Shoto asked as he entered the room, carrying a box with him. Setting the box down on the floor, he moved next to Dabi, sitting down next to him. "I didn't know, I'm sorry."

"Don't say another word," Dabi glared at Shoto, leaning away from him until he was practically sitting on Hawks' lap, "You're not here to talk, you're here because for some reason our sons are friends. That's it. So shush. And I needed help moving boxes, but that's besides the point."

"What the hell are you extras doing sitting on the ground?" Bakugo snarled, dropping the box in his hands onto the ground throwing his hands in the air in frustration.

"Kacchan, we are helping, stop dropping things on the floor and throwing a fit," Deku followed into the room after Bakugo, "Besides, we could all use a break."

"Your son tripped me," Dabi's eye twitched as he glared at Bakugo. Turning his attention towards Deku he added, "and just because our sons are friends, doesn't make us friends. I am simply tolerating you all, because I love my son. Understood?"

Hawks sighed, burying his face in his hands, "you know Touya, it's not a bad thing if we make some friends. You know talk to other adults for a change."

"Am I not enough for you?" Dabi pulled away from Hawks, leaning up against Shoto. As soon as he leaned into Shoto, he leapt to his feet.

"Baby, you seem stressed. Maybe, you need to take a break." Hawks floated up to his feet, wrapping his arms around Dabi from behind, resting his head between his shoulder blades.

"I am stressed," Dabi's body tensed, "you wanna know why? People I don't like are in my home, I am trying to get us moved into the new house, and in case you forgot, we have a baby on the way that will be here any minute. I'm a little bit stressed."

"Which is why you need a break," Hawks tightened his grip on Dabi, nuzzling his face against his back. "Just take a deep breath baby, everything will be ok."
