"Are you going to keep us locked up here?" Dabi held his chained hands out in front of himself. He sat in the dark room across from Bakugo, Deku, and Shoto. Hawks was slumped in the chair beside him.

"You said we weren't under arrest," Hawks muttered, "you've kept us here for hours."

"You're free to go," Shoto leaned forward in his chair, "as soon as you tell us what you know."

"We don't know anything," Dabi growled, "leave us alone."

"Where's our son?" Hawks asked.

"You're son is being taken care of," Deku said, "he's with Fuyumi and Momo."

"Who the hell is Momo?" Dabi shouted, "you're leaving my son with some random stranger. I want to see him, Now!"

"Momo isn't a stranger," Shoto looked at Dabi, "she's my wife."

"I don't care," Dabi narrowed his eyes at Shoto, "you have no right to take him from me. I want to see my son."

"You won't see your son until this case is resolved," Bakugo said, "if you cooperate, you'll see him soon. If you don't, there'll be a trial, and the process will drag on. Believe it or not, we're not interested in separating you from your son, but with you being the main suspect in a possible murder, it's for his own safety."

"Suspect? Possible murder?" Dabi laughed, "that means nothing. You have nothing on us. And we know nothing. For all we know he could have run away, living out his life somewhere, while you hold us here to rot."

"Touya hasn't killed anyone since Shinji was born," Hawks said, "you forget, I'm a hero too. I wouldn't let that happen."

-

Shinji held onto Dabi as they landed in front of their house, his eyes were puffy with tears from the crying that he had done. The image of Hawks being slammed against the wall played in his head over and over.

He had been powerless to stop it. He knew he was small but he also knew his quirk was strong, and yet it didn't work when he needed it.

"Dove, it's been a long day." Dabi held Shinji close to him as he carried him inside, "lets get you to bed."

"I no sleep," Shinji whined, trying to keep his heavy eyelids open, "I protect you this times. The bad men won't take you."

"Buddy, you don't need to protect Daddies." Hawks placed a kiss on the top of Shinji's head, "Daddies will protect you. And right now, you need sleep.

-

"If you want us to talk," Dabi sighed, "you will let us see Shinji. Otherwise, we won't say a word."

"So you do know something?" Shoto's eyes widened.

"Maybe, maybe not," Hawks said, "but you won't know that, until we see our son."

Deku turned to Bakugo and whispered in his ear. Bakugo nodded and Deku turned to Shoto, and whispered to him as well, "we'll let you see him. But you can't leave. Not until you tell us everything you know."

"There's one other condition," Hawks straightened up in his chair, "if you want to know everything, you'll need to offer immunity."

"There's no way in hell," Bakugo shouted, "we aren't going to give you immunity, especially if you killed him." He shot a glare at Dabi.

"I told you, Touya didn't kill anyone," Hawks sighed, "and the immunity isn't for us. It's for another hero. Because if you want to know everything, their involvement could be a problem. Otherwise, I can't tell you everything, I won't let them get in trouble."
